Answer:

How much profit allowed

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: as par the islam how much profit we must take from the coustomer..

Islam does not dictate the price or profit of goods and services in a marketplace, and encourages non-monopolistic free-markets where the demand and supply of the goods dictate its prices. Depending on true demand and supply, one may charge as much or as little a profit one wills or believes will enable him to earn a livelihood and trade his product to his satisfaction in a free-market.

Al-Muwatta Hadith 31.56

Yahya related from Malik that he had heard that Umar ibn al-Khattab said, "There is no hoarding in our market, and men who have excess gold (wealth) in their hands should not buy up one of Allah's provisions which he has sent to our courtyard and then hoard it up against us (so as to create a false demand and sell the commodity to them later at an unusually inflated price). Someone who brings imported goods through great fatigue to himself in the summer and winter, that person is the guest of Umar. Let him sell what Allah wills and keep what Allah wills."

Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 2015 Narrated by Ya'la ibn Umayyah

The Prophet (saws) said: Hoarding up food (to sell it at a high price) in the sacred territory is a deviation (from right to wrong).

What Islam has absolutely discouraged and prohibits is that a trader or group of traders form a cartel, and intentionally hoard basic necessities like food, medicine, etc, thus creating an artificial and unusual demand so that they may increase their prices and sell their these basic products at an unusually high and unreasonable premium. It would be the responsibility of the government to stop such unlawful practice of the unscrupulous traders.

But in a normal non-monopolistic marketplace where normal supply and demand dictate the prices of products, there is absolutely no maximum or minimum limit imposed by Islam in monitoring prices or profits.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
