Read hadith without wudu.

One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
Hi
dear
As
Salam
brother
we all work for a call center and inbetween for 10 minutes we all get
together and we read hadis ( fazael-e-aamal) and that time we dont have a
optiong to remove our shoes and to do ouzu so we read it without removing the
shoe and without ouzu is there any harm.
(There may be some grammatical and spelling
errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from
questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in
confidentiality.)
Answer:
Read hadith without
wudu
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah
Maidah verse 6:
6 O ye who believe! When ye prepare for prayer wash your faces and
your hands (and arms) to the elbows; rub your heads (with water); and (wash)
your feet to the ankles.
The only acts in Islam whereby the ‘wudu’ is absolutely
obligatory and a pre-condition is when one is about to offer a prayer or while
performing the ‘tawaaf’ of the Holy Kaaba; if these two rites are performed
without the ‘wudu’, it would nullify the rites.
There is absolutely no obligation or requirement for the
believers in Shariah to be in the state of ‘wudu’ or remove their shoes when
reciting the ‘hadiths’ of the Messenger of Allah (saws).
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
