He stayed overnight outside of Muzdalifah because of the crowds

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
As-Salaamu-Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

I did the rituals of Hajj but it seems that we made a mistake with regard to standing in Muzdalifah, because of the crowded traffic. We stayed in our place outside of Muzdalifah until the morning of Eid, and we went from there at the time of sunrise to Mina. Based on this, we did not spend the night of Eid in Muzdalifah. What is the ruling on this Hajj of ours?.

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

If the situation during your Hajj was as you describe, then you do not have to offer a sacrifice for not staying overnight in Muzdalifah because you are excused, and your Hajj is valid.
