What if we have sex with some one before marriage?
Sex before Marriage
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol,
no person, no grave, no
prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 24 Surah Noor verses 2-3:The woman and the man guilty of
‘zina’ flog each of them with a hundred stripes: let not compassion move you in their case in
a matter prescribed by Allah if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness
their punishment. Let no man guilty of ‘zina’ marry any but a woman similarly guilty
or an Unbeliever; nor let any but such a man or an Unbeliever
marry such a woman: to the Believers such a thing is forbidden.
Sex before marriage is a heinous sin in the sight of Allah, and Allah has
forbidden ‘zina’ for the believers.
The people who have committed
this gross and heinous sin in the past,
they should immediately turn to Allah and make sincere Taubah and repent for their sin; and make a solemn covenant with Allah that
they will not do ‘zina’ ever again, and fulfill the covenant they have made with
Allah. If one turns back to Allah and
makes sincere Taubah or repentance, it is expected Allah will be Merciful
to them and forgive them their sin. For
Allah indeed is Very Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumur verses 53-54:(O Prophet)
say: “O My servants who have wronged their own souls….Do not despair of Allah’s
Mercy! Surely, Allah forgives all sins. He indeed is the All Forgiving, All Merciful. Return to your Lord and submit to Him before
the scourge overtakes you;
for then you may get no help from anywhere.”
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
