In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: WHO R U O EXPRESS THE MEANINGS OF QURAAN BY UR OWNSELF? TANEY MAANI KAUN SAMJHAWSEY?

My beloved brother, Allah says Himself in the Glorious Quran that the Quran is plain and easy to understand. Anyone who understands Arabic will have absolutely no difficulty in understanding these crystal-clear Messages of the Glorious Quran. We have quoted literally hundreds of aayahs in our forum and have given a specific reference for each aayah. If you or anyone else thinks that the aayah means anything other than what we have mentioned, why don’t you let us know what you think they mean?

The brothers who use this excuse that the Quran is impossible and difficult to understand, are the same ones who propagate to leave aside the guidance and understanding of the Quran! Because they are unable to give evidence for their beliefs from the Quran, they have chosen to deny the clear guidance of the Quran and formulate their own beliefs against it!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 44 Surah Dukhan verse 58:We have made this Book easy in your own tongue so that they may ponder and take good counsel.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 43 Surah Zukhruf verses 1-3:Haa Meem. By this lucid (clear or open) Book. We have made it an Arabic Quran, so that you may understand it.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 12 Surah Yusuf verse 1-2:These are the verses of the Book that makes its object perfectly clear. We have sent it down as a Quran in Arabic, so that you may understand it well.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah Nahl verse 89:We have sent down to you this Book, which makes everything plain, and is a guidance, blessing and good news to those who have surrendered themselves entirely.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verse 1-3:All praise is for Allah Alone, Who has sent down this Book to His Servant (Mohamed (saws)), and assigned nothing crooked to it. This Book says everything directly, so that he may warn the people of the severe chastisement of Allah and give good news to the believers, who do righteous deeds, that they will have an excellent reward.

Allah Himself says the Holy Quran is easy, open, clear, plain, a guidance and a blessing. He declares that He has not assigned any crookedness in it! And some people insist (in spite of all these assurances from Allah), that this Book is impossible to understand!!!!!!!!

We have given a reference for each and every aayah quoted above. Brother, we urge you in all humility and in search of the Truth: to please study any or all of these aayahs and if you or any of your scholars can interpret any of the above aayahs differently which changes the meaning of the aayahs, to please let us know. We urge you to do this exercise for the Pleasure of Allah and in search for the Truth.

The truth is brother, the people who object and find faults with the guidance of the Holy Quran, are the ones who have, in truth, denied the very Revelations of Allah. The truth is that such people just do not want to believe in the Message of the Holy Quran, and thus they have turned away from its guidance and its teachings. They cannot justify their self-invented beliefs from the Holy Quran and have no other choice but to deny the understanding of the clear guidance and teachings of the Holy Quran in pursuit of their false and fabricated set of beliefs, which have absolutely no basis and no authority from the Glorious Quran!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 7: (O Prophet) even if We had sent down to you a Book written on paper, and even if they had touched it with their own hands, the disbelievers would have said, “This is nothing but manifest sorcery!”.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 33:We know that what they say grieves you. But it is not you whom they charge with falsehood! These wicked people are in fact, denying the Revelations of Allah!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 157-158:Now that a clear proof, a Guidance and Blessing, has come to you from your Lord, who can be more unjust than the one who treats Our Revelations as false and turns away from them? We will inflict the severest torment on those who turn away from Our Revelations because of their aversion. Do the people now await that the angels should come down before them? Or that your Lord may Himself come down? Or that the manifest Signs of your Lord should appear?

Your Comment: ALLAH SAY IN HIS QURAAN, DO ASK THE AHLUL ZIKR IF U DO NOT KNOW THE MEANINGS OF QURAAN,

This is exactly how the people who have no knowledge from the Holy Quran quote! Without reference, without knowledge, and half-truths! They take the one phrase ‘ahlez-zikr’ (people of zikr) and attach whatever they want to it. Brothers: Fear Allah!

Every aayah of the Quran must be taken in its context. We cannot take one phrase or one word and eliminate the rest of the sentence or the topic being discussed! Yes, the Quran does mention the phrase ‘ahlez-zikr’ in two places, but what follows or precedes is NOT as you have quoted! Fear Allah, and do not ascribe false things to Allah.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus verse 17:Who can be a greater sinner than the one who himself forges a lie and ascribes it to Allah, or falsifies His real Revelations? Indeed, the criminals can never attain true success.

Your Question: WHO IS THE AHLUL ZIKR IN UR OPINION U FOOL?? NO DOUBT ITS THE 52ND DAI DR SYEDNA MOHAMMED BURHANUDDIN TUS.

Now lets study the subject of ‘ahlez-zkir’ in the context of the Holy Quran, and find out who is the real ‘fool’!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah Nahl verses 43-44:And before you (O Mohamed) the Messengers We sent were but men to whom We granted inspiration. You (people of Makkah) may inquire from the ‘ahlez-zikr’ if you do not know this. We sent the former Messengers with clear Signs and Books, and now We have sent the ‘zikr’ (Admonition) to you, so that you should make plain and explain to the people what is sent for them, and that they themselves should ponder over it.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 21 Surah Anbiyaa verses 5-10:They (the People of Makkah) say, “It is a bundle of incoherent dreams. Nay, he (Mohamed) himself has invented it. Nay, he is a poet! If not, let him bring a Sign like the Signs with which the former Prophets were sent.” The fact is, that no habitation which We destroyed before them believed! Now will these (people of Makkah) believe? Before you (O Mohamed) the Prophets we sent were but men to whom We granted Inspiration. You (People of Makkah) may inquire from the ‘ahlez-zikr’ if you do not know this. We did not give them (the Prophets) such bodies as could survive without food, nor were they exempt from death. Then We fulfilled Our promises with them and ultimately delivered them and whomsoever We willed, and destroyed the transgressors. O People, We have sent down to you a Book in which is Admonition for you. Will you not then understand?

If one removes all his prejudice and hate, only then will he be able to understand what the above aayahs means in the context of the Holy Quran.

The pagans of Makkah refused to believe in the Holy Quran and the Prophethood of Mohamed (saws). They hurled every name and abuse at the Prophet of Allah (saws) and called him a liar, a sorcerer, a magician, a fraud, a poet, etc. In the above aayahs, Allah admonishes the pagans of Makkah, and tells them that the prior people treated all the earlier Prophets sent by Him in the exact same manner. These pagans of Makkah had no knowledge of the earlier Prophets like Adam, and Noah, and Idris, and Moses, and Jesus, etc. because no Messenger had come to them since Prophet Ismail for almost 2000 years. All the Prophets sent by Allah were sent to the People of the Book, that is, the Jews and the Christians. Thus, when the pagans of Makkah objected to the Prophethood of Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (saws) because he was a mere human being, Allah challenges them and tells the pagans to ask the ‘ahlez-zikr’ or the People of the Book (the Jews and the Christians) for they knew the names and stories of all the Prophets that are now being mentioned to them from the Holy Quran!

The phrase ‘ahlez-zikr’ in the above aayahs refers to the People of the Book, and not to some personality of your choice in the 21st Century!!!!!!!!

Allah has Himself termed His Revealed Books as ‘furqaan’ (The Criterion), or ‘zikr’ (Admonition), or simply ‘al-kitaab’ (The Book) in the Holy Quran. In that respect and also in the context of the Quran, the phrase ‘ahle-zikr’ clearly means the People of the Admonition, or the People of the Book of Allah. And Allah has Himself called the Jews and the Christians the ‘ahle-kitaab’ or People of the Book many times in the Holy Quran.

By no stretch of any imagination would the phrase ‘ahle-zikr’ mean, what you claim and quote it should mean, “DO ASK THE AHLUL ZIKR IF U DO NOT KNOW THE MEANINGS OF QURAAN.”

There is absolutely no mention of the words that you have so conveniently quoted “IF U DO NOT KNOW THE MEANINGS OF QURAAN” near the phrase ‘ahlez-zikr’! Allah Alone knows best where you got this quote from!!!

Brother, I urge you to fear Allah before you start saying something which is not from the Holy Quran, for Allah is watching over everything that we do. He will gather all of us on an Inevitable Day to give a full accounting of all our deeds. Fear Allah!

Your Comment: RASAULLAH STATED IN HIS HADTITH, I AM LEAVING TWO PRECIOUS THINGS AMONGST U MY QAUM AND THEY R... MY PROGENY AND THE QURAAN.

Again, careful how you quote the Messenger of Allah (saws). We must always make sure that we quote the exact words when ascribing something to the Messenger of Allah (saws).

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 2.378 Narrated byAl Mughira

I heard the Prophet saying, "Ascribing false things to me is not like ascribing false things to anyone else. Whosoever tells a lie against me intentionally then surely let him occupy his seat in Hell-Fire."

The correct words of the part of the hadith that you have quoted is as follows:

Sahih Muslim Hadith 5920 Narrated byZayd ibn Arqam

One day Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon at a watering-place known as Khumm, situated between Mecca and Medina. He praised Allah, extolled Him, delivered the sermon, exhorted (us) and said: Now to our purpose, O people: I am a human being. Perhaps I am about to receive a messenger (the angel of death) from my Lord, and I, in response to Allah's call, (shall bid good-bye to you). But I am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it. He exhorted (us) (to hold fast) to the Book of Allah, and then said: The second are the members of my household; I remind you (of your duties) to the members of my household. Yazid ibn Hussain said to Zayd: Who are the members of his household? Aren't his wives the members of his family? Thereupon he said: His wives are the members of his family (but here) the members of his family are those for whom acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. And he said: Who are they? Thereupon he said: Ali and the offspring of Ali, Aqil and the offspring of Aqil, the offspring of Ja'far and the offspring of Abbas. Husayn said: These are those for whom the acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. Zayd said: Yes.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) exhorted the believers to hold fast to the Book of Allah, and reminded the believers of their duties to the members of his household. There is not a believer who does not love and honor the noble members of the Prophet’s household, although there are a few mis-guided sects in Islam who have the audacity to go against the above commands of the Messenger of Allah (saw) and curse and revile some of his noble and chaste wives, who are very much from amongst the ‘ahle-bayt’.

But one must be careful here to understand that never did the Prophet (saws) say to make tombs and places of worship on the graves of his noble ‘ahle-bayt’! He never said to go and bow down in ‘sajdah’ to these graves and shrines! He never said to gather, and wail, and beat out chests, and ceremonize the death days of his noble ‘ahle-bayt’! He never said to divide the Ummah of Islam on the pretext of his noble ‘ahle-bayt’! He never ever told the believers to commit the heinous crime of ‘shirk’ using the names of his noble ‘ahle-bayt’!

The Messenger of Allah (saws) first exhorted the believers to hold fast to the Holy Quran and adhere to it for in it is the Right Guidance and Light! He then reminded the believers of their duties to the noble members of his blessed household.

My sincere advise to you brother is hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it, for the Glorious Quran indeed shows the Right Guidance. And love and honor all the members of the blessed household of the Messenger of Allah (saws), if indeed you truly believe in Allah and the Last Day.

Your Comment: QURAAN DOESNT SPEAK SO U CANT UNDERSTAND ITS MEANING!! ALI AS PUT THE QURAAN ON HIS HEAD SAYING OH KITAB TALK SAYING IT THRICE BUT IT DIDN`T UTTER A WORD THEN HE SAID I AM THE KITABULLAH AL NATIQ!

The Glorious Quran was revealed by Allah as a guidance to all of mankind. Allah did not create the Quran to speak, as it is not in the nature of a Book to speak! The people who make such ridiculous claims that the Quran does not speak therefore you cannot understand its meanings; are precisely the ones who would not believe even if the Quran did speak!!!!!! Allah says about such people in the Holy Quran:

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 7:

(O Prophet) even if We had sent down to you a Book written on paper, and even if they had touched it with their own hands, the disbelievers would have said, “This is nothing but manifest sorcery!”.

And regarding the episode of Imam Ali (r.a.) putting the Quran on his head and asking it to speak three times; Allah Alone knows best if it is the Truth, or it is the fabrication of some liar ascribing this deed to the noble Imam Hadrat Ali ibn Abi Taalib (r.a.). Brother, if you are indeed truthful in your claim that Hadrat Ali (r.a.) did indeed do such an act and utter these words, I request you to give me the reference of the book in which this is recorded! The need never rose for the Messenger of Allah (saws) to do such a thing, but according to your statement, Imam Ali (r.a.) did it!!!! May Allah take full retribution from the people who falsely attribute deeds and words to the noble companions of the Messenger of Allah (saws).

Your Comment: IT WOULD BE UNFAIR FROM ALLAH TO GARCE THE PEOPLE OF RASUALLAH AS AGE WITH THE PRESENCE OF RASUL AND THEN PROHIBIT THE WORLD FROM A MESSANGER OF ALLAH!! THEREFORE TO PROVE ALLAH JUSTICE THERE HAS TO BE A WALI TO ALLAH IN THIS EARTH AND IN THE SECLUSION OF IMAM AS THAT HADI AND WALI IS MOULANA MOHAMMED BURHANUDDIN!

Indeed, amongst the Noble Attributes of Allah is that He is the ‘Al-Aadil’ (The Just). If what you claim is true that there is at all times a Hadi and Wali of Allah on this Planet earth, then brother answer these simple questions of mine!

Who was the Hadi or Wali of Allah in the world just before the birth of the Last Messenger of Allah (saws)?

Who did the Messenger of Allah follow as his Hadi? Someone who was alive during his time, or did he follow the ‘millah’ of Prophet Abraham (a.s.)?

Who was the Hadi during the days of ignorance for the pagans of Makkah?

Only the Prophets of Allah (saws) have the right to come to mankind and declare that they have been appointed as the Messengers of the Merciful Lord. No imaam, no dai, no mazoon, no muqasir, no bhaisaheb, no moulvi, no peer, no shaikh…. Nobody! Nobody, other than the Prophets, have a right to come to mankind and declare that he has been appointed so and so by Allah; and anyone who does so is a confirmed liar!!!! Allah sends His Messengers wherever He wills and whenever He wills. And He, in His Supreme and Infinite Mercy, sent the Last Messenger Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah with the Message of the Holy Quran to all of mankind. Now whoever believes, obeys and follows the Last Messenger (saws), will attain Allah’s Forgiveness and Mercy. And whoever follows all the other self-made names and personalities, will attain nothing but the Wrath and Anger of Allah.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisa verse 79-80:We have sent you (O Mohamed) as a Messenger to mankind, and Allah’s witness suffices for this. Whoever obeys the Messenger, in fact obeys Allah, and whoever turns away from him, he will be accountable for his deeds. Anyhow, we have not sent you (O Mohamed) to be a guardian over them.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imran verse 31-32:Prophet, tell the people, “If you sincerely love Allah, follow me. Then Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, for He is All Forgiving, All Merciful.” Also say to them, “Obey Allah and His Messenger.” And if, in spite of this, they do not accept your invitation, warn them that Allah does not love those, who refuse to obey Him and His Messenger.

Allah says in the Holy Quran in Chapter 7 Surah Al-Ara’af verse 157:So, now Mercy has been assigned to those who follow this Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whose mention they shall find in the Torah and the Gospel. He (Mohamed(saws)) enjoins them to do good and forbids them for evil. He makes pure things ‘halaal’ for them and impure things ‘haraam’. He relieves them of their burdens and frees them from the shackles that they bound themselves with (of customs and pagan rituals).

The Holy Quran and the traditions of the Last Messenger (saws) are the only two sources of guidance for mankind until the end of time. No one is authorized to change or alter the commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws). Mohamed ar Rasool Allah (saws) is the only Hadi or Guide of the Ummah until the end of time. Neither has Allah appointed any other hadi or wali, and nor is one needed. Whoever has chosen their hadis and their walis, have done so with absolutely no authority from Allah. They have chosen people amongst their scholars, chiefs, and holy men and named them their Hadis themselves!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 31:They have made their scholars and their monks as their Rabbs besides Allah!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzab verse 66-68:On the Day their faces are rolled about on the Fire, they will say, “Would that we had obeyed Allah and His Messenger!” And they will say, “O our Lord, we obeyed our CHIEFS and our GREAT MEN, and they led us astray from the Right Path. O our Lord, give them a double chastisement and curse them severely”.

Your Comment: ALLAH SAID TO MOHAMED SAW U R THE MUNZIR AND THERE IS A HADEE TO ALL QAUMS AND TO US THE QUAM ON RIGHT PATH, ITS HADEE IS SEDNA MOHAMMED BURHANUDIIN U DUMB FOOL!!!

The aayah of the Quran that you are probably referring to is the following:

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 13 Surah Raad verse 7:These people who have rejected your Message, say, “Why has no Sign been sent down to this person from His Lord?” You are only a warner and every ‘Quam’ has its ‘Haad’ (guide).

We are indeed the Ummah of Prophet Mohamed (saws) and Prophet Mohamed is our Hadi. Every ‘Quam’ that passed away had its ‘Hadi’ (guide): The Quam of Adam had Prophet Adam as its Hadi; the Quam of Noah had Prophet Noah as its Hadi; the Quam of Lot had Prophet Lot as its Hadi; the Quam of Moosa had Prophet Moosa as its Hadi; etc. Similarly, we are the Quam of Prophet Mohamed (saws), and Prophet Mohamed is our Hadi! There are several aayahs in the Quran, and countless traditions of the Messenger of Allah (saws) that prove this fact.

But there is absolutely no aayah in the Holy Quran and no tradition of the Messenger of Allah (saws) that can prove that the person you claim to be your Hadee has any authority from Allah and His Messenger (saws). The One and Only Hadee of the Ummah of Islam is the Last Messenger (saws), and there is no Messenger after him.

Sahih Muslim Hadith 1885 Narrated byJabir ibn Abdullah

The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "The best speech is that embodied in the Book of Allah; and the best Hadi is the guidance given by me, (Muhammad). The most evil affairs are the innovations; and every innovation is an error."

Your Comment: KHUDA SHAHID CHEY KE ME BARA`AAT KARU CHU ANEY HUJJAT QAIM CHEY TARAA PAR

And we bear witness, and we hereby call Allah to witness our correspondence, that we worship and invoke nothing except Allah Alone; and that we bear witness that Mohamed (saws) is the Last Messenger and the Last Hadi of the Ummah of Islam. We also call Allah to witness that we have rejected all your self-made hadis and feel disgusted with the ‘shirk’ that you practice in the name of Islam!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 19:Ask them, “Whose testimony is most reliable?”. Say (O Prophet), “Allah is a witness between me and you, and this Quran has been revealed to me so that I should thereby warn you and all whom it may reach. What! Will you really testify that there are other deities besides Allah?” Say, “As for me, I will never testify such a thing.” Say, “Indeed, He Alone is the Deity, and I feel disgusted with the ‘shirk’ you practice.”

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus verse 66:Note it well that all the dwellers of the heavens and the earth belong to Allah. And those who invoke partners besides Allah, follow nothing but surmises and merely indulge in guess-works!

May Allah have Mercy on you and us, and guide us all to the Siraat al Mustaqeem.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

May Allah guide you and us all to stay on the Straight Path of Islam,  and give us the patience and steadfastness to choose His Way above all the ways of the world.   May Allah help all the muslims in the trial that is effecting the muslim world.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

To  dawoodibohrahelpline

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

Masha Allaah, I read your article about 'Syedna's deeds'  with a feeling of hope. It is a very well written article with supporting evidence from the Qur'an. I have been thinking about some of these points and have wanted to write. Alhamdulillah, I am happy that you have taken so much time and energy to  write this. This only shows your caring, love  and concern for the Bohra 'koum'. May Allaah SWT reward you in this world and in akhirah. Ameen.

May Allah SWT open the hearts of the Bohra's who read this article so that they may understand the message in it.

Only those who read this article in humbleness and in a quest for the truth will Allah SWT open their hearts. If not Allah SWT will cause them to be blind from the truth even though they have eyes to read the article and cause them to be deaf even though they have ears to hear the message.

Worst of all even though they have hearts Allaah SWT will seal it and they will not be able to think their way to the truth.  So let us all be humble and desire to at all times to seek the truth so that Allaah SWT will not abandon us in our lost ways. For only Allaah SWT can guide us to the truth and we must constantly make dua that he protects us from falsehood and guides to HIS truth.

We must remember that Allah SWT created us only for one purpose and that is to worship Him. So man's main goal in life is to correctly worship his creator and Lord.

Surah 51:56

Wama Khalaqtul Jinna Wal Insa ILLa liya'a buduun.

And I (Allah) have not created the jinn and mankind except that they

should worship Me (alone).

So if all man's intelligence is used only for being the best and the most successful in this physical world but fail to use the intelligence to ensure he is worshipping his Lord as his Lord wants to be worshipped then he has failed miserably in life's goal.

We must worship Allaah SWT  according to the way HE wants to be worshipped  [according to HIS recipe] rather than the way we have been taught to worship by our parents, our 'koum' and our leaders. In the history of Islam from the time of Adam a.s. groups of people have deviated before and had to leave the practices of their parents and their 'koum' in search of the truth. A good example is Nabi Ibraheem a.s. who left his father and his koum and their false practices. Thus man needs to be on guard all the time and seek to be guided back to the truth. Our allegiance should not be to our 'koum'  but to Allaah SWT. If our 'koum' is wrong then we should humbly seek and go in the direction of truth.

Thus HIS [Allaah's] recipe is to follow the Qur'an to the letter and to follow the Teachings of Rasulullah [saw] according to the authentic hadiths.

In these difficult times Muslim's are trying to make sense of the American tragedy and their counter attack. Let us not focus on the battle between the kufar and Muslims as what will happen will happen by the will of Allaah SWT and no one will have control over this. All we can do is make doa for the Muslims in different parts of the world.

Nor should we focus on the disagreements between the different groups of Muslims but to look within ourselves and fight our inner jihad [battle] to ensure that Shaittan does not win the battle in making us continue worshipping Allaah SWT in the wrong way and thus lead ourselves to be the losers in our life goal.

We must thus strive to gather knowledge that will get us back on the right path and achieve the goal for which we were created in the first place that is of worshipping Allaah correctly. Thus we will be successful in this most important life goal.

If at death all we have done is succeeded in being successful businessmen, engineers, doctors and lawyers; gathered position, power and wealth; educated our children well and got them married well [and strated the cycle all over again] but worshipped Allaah SWT in other than HIS way than we have but wasted our time, energy and intelligence. We would then end our life's journey having failed misreably. Now what a waste that  would be for intelligent, oustanding Bohra's to be in.

May Allah SWT guide us to the right path and give us the strenght to break away from falsehood. Ameen.

There is nothing to fear accept Allaah SWT. To fear anything else is SHIRK.
