Who is behind the Dawoodibohrahelpline?

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

I would like to ask one question to the person who is answering the questions asked.  But first please assure me my name will be confidential and would not be disclosed on dbnet.  Now the question that came in my mind after reading the cruel question and the cruel answer for our beloved bawa shafiq who is this person?  In reality is he a bohra born?  or is it that he only have a bohra name? but in real he is not a bohra?  Because I believe the question and answer both are extremely vicious.  NO  person of the bohra community would ask such a bad question and no person of the bohra community would answer this badly the way this person whoever he is has answered.

My question is who is the person behind this question-answer session?  The way he has answered the question asked is absoultely wrong and no true bohra would even like to read or listen to what he has to say against our most beloved Bawa Shafique Aaqa Maula.  For your kind information our Maula is toba nawoo-zoobil-lah is not a dictator from any point.  Our Maula is the messenger of the God and he does not dictate anything but he promotes Haq, Salaat and Jehad.  My Maula is bohra community's bawa and he is taking a very good care of his children (community) by teaching them how to pray and live like a human being in this cruel world.

I would strongly appeal to all my bohra brothers and sisters to please do something to stop this person who pretends to be a bohra in question-answer session and is talking totally against our holy priest, our Bawa Shafique, our Aaqa Maula.  Please brothers and sisters let's join hand in hand to prevent such scripts coming to our pcs thru dbnet.  I'm pretty sure who ever is this person by the bohra name is not a bohra, because if he was a true bohra he would never have said anything against our Maula.

Shukran

Answer:

Who is behind the Dawoodibohrahelpline?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and who-ever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

It was never our intention to hurt your feelings or demerit anyone whom you obviously love and revere so much. Our only intention is to proclaim the Truth from the very words of Allah; The Glorious Quran. We are commanded by Allah in the Holy Quran to always stand on the side of Truth and Justice, even if the Truth is against our most loved ones, our near relatives, or even ourselves.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 135:O you have believed! You be the standard-bearers of justice and witnesses for the sake of Allah; even though your justice and your evidence might be harmful to yourselves, or to your parents, or to your relatives. It does not matter whether the party concerned is rich or poor: Allah is their greater well-wisher than you. Therefore, do not follow your own desire lest you should deviate from doing justice. If you distort your evidence or refrain from the Truth, know it well that Allah is fully aware of what you do.

The Book of Allah was not revealed only for the muslims, but it was revealed by Allah as the perfect guidance for all of mankind; muslims and non-muslims alike. Whoever follows and obeys the commands of this Glorious Book of Guidance is guided aright; and whoever rejects and denies this guidance and follows anyone else unconditionally, should remember that they will be presented before Allah on an Inevitable Day.

All we want to do is invite our brethren to read and understand the Holy Quran for themselves, and to make them aware of this Irrefutable Eventuality; that One Day all of us will be gathered to give a full accounting of our deeds done in this world.

You obviously love, revere, respect, invoke, bow down in ‘tasleem’, fold your hands in front of him in respect, and might even bow down in ‘sajdah’ to your high priest. You assume that everything he teaches is from the guidance of the Holy Quran and he guides you to the straight path of Islam. I ask you in all humility and request you to seriously think about what I am about to ask you in search of the Truth:

You ‘assume’ that he teaches from the Quran. My question is that have you ever referred to the guidance of the Quran to check whether he is indeed on the path of the Quran or not?

You obviously are a devout believer of the priest. My question is, have you ever tried to understand the Message that our Merciful Lord and Creator has sent for our guidance in Islam?

You believe and follow your priest unconditionally, and you believe that if you love him and obey him, he will take you to Paradise. My question is, have you ever wondered what will be your state if your priest is not able to deliver his promise of intercession (shafa’a) on the Day of Qiyaamah? What will you do then?

Is the time not yet arrived that we, as muslims, should try to understand what our Merciful Lord and Creator has revealed in His Sublime Mercy for our guidance?

Have you ever wondered what will be your response to Allah when He asks you if you received His Message of the Holy Quran? Do you think He will accept your answer that you followed so and so priest unconditionally and assumed that he was guiding from the Quran, so forgive me My Lord?

If we truly believe, as we claim, in Allah and the Last Day, then it becomes our duty to read and understand well the Message of the Holy Quran. It is none other than Allah, The All Wise, Who has revealed this Book for our guidance. And it is nothing but our fallacy that we have denied ourselves the understanding of this Book of Guidance; and have chosen some people amongst ourselves and obeyed and followed them unconditionally, and assumed that they are teaching us from the Quran and guiding us to the Straight Path.

My sincere advice to you is that you open the Holy Quran and read its meanings in any language you know best. If after reading the Quran, you find that your priest is indeed guiding you from the Quran; then please follow him. But what if after reading the Quran, you find out that your priest is not guiding you from the Holy Quran? There is only one way to make sure that your priest is guiding you or mis-guiding you: and that is to read the Holy Quran with understanding.

Allah has given each individual intelligence and a free will to choose the path he wants with this free will and reasoning, and that is exactly what all of us will be held accountable for in the Court of Allah. Whoever used his intelligence and common-sense and with his free will chose to follow the guidance of Allah, he will be honored in the Court of Allah. And whoever chose to follow any other path than that of Allah, he will be doomed. All we intend to make you aware is: it is too big a risk to base your beliefs and ‘aqeedah’ on hopes and assumptions. It is too much of a risk to work and do deeds in this worldly life in a certain way, and then to find out on the Day of Judgement, that that way was not from the Holy Quran! The eternal life of the Hereafter is too big a reward to be missed. The eternal life of the Hereafter is too big an honor to base it on ‘assumptions’, ‘hopes’, and ‘promises’ of any high priest!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah Nahl verse 89:We have sent down to you this Book, which makes everything plain, and is a guidance, blessing and good news to those who have surrendered themselves entirely.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 19 Surah Maryam verse 97:O Mohamed, We have made this Quran easy, and sent it down in your tongue so that you should give good news to the pious and warn the stubborn people.

You have been told the Holy Quran is difficult to understand. Allah says this Quran is plain and easy to understand! Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or your priest?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verses 34-35:O you who believe! There are indeed many among the priests and the holy men who devour the wealth of others by evil means, and debar the people from the Way of Allah. Give them the good news of a painful torment, who hoard up gold and silver and do not expend these in the Way of Allah. The Day shall surely come when the same gold and silver shall be heated in the fire of Hell, and with it will be branded their foreheads, their bodies and their backs. (And it will be said): “Here is that treasure you had hoarded up for yourselves! Taste now the evil of your hoarded treasure!”

You think that the priests and holy men collect and distribute all the funds like salaams, najwa, sabeel, wajebaat, zakaat, khums, haqq-un-naffs, etc. in the way of Allah! Allah says that many among these priests and holy devour the wealth of others by evil means. Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or your priests?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 22 Surah Hajj verse73:O mankind! A parable is related to you, so listen to it! Those on whom you call besides Allah cannot create a fly, even though they may all combine together for this purpose! Nay! If a fly snatches away anything from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly! How weak are the those who petition, and how weak are those to whom they supplicate!

You are told to believe that these priests have some sort of influence with Allah. You are told to believe that these priests will ‘intercede’ for you in the Court of Allah. Allah declares that all those on whom you call besides Allah are so powerless and weak, that they cannot even create a fly if all of them combined together for this purpose! Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or the priests?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 186:And if My servants ask you, O Prophet, concerning Me, tell them that I am quite near to them. I hear and answer the prayer of the suppliant, when he calls on Me. So let them respond to My call and believe on Me. (Convey this to them), perhaps they may be guided aright!

You are told that Allah listens only if He is invoked through some ‘chosen’ people. But Allah clearly says that He is quite near to us and hears and answers all our prayers and supplications directly. Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or your priests?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 35 Surah Fatir verse 22:And the dead and the living are not alike! Allah causes whomever He wills to hear, but you cannot make those who are buried in the graves to hear you.

You are told to invoke and worship those who are in the graves. You are made to believe that those who are dead can hear you and get your prayers answered by Allah. Allah declares very clearly that those who are buried in the graves cannot even hear you, leave alone answer your prayers! Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or the priests?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 157-158:Now that a clear proof, a Guidance and Blessing, has come to you from your Lord, who can be more unjust than the one who treats Our Revelations as false and turns away from them? We will inflict the severest torment on those who turn away from Our Revelations because of their aversion. Do the people now await that the angels should come down before them? Or that your Lord may Himself come down? Or that the manifest Signs of your Lord should appear?

You are told to recite the Quran, but never ever try to understand it. And if you cannot understand it, how are you possibly going to follow the guidance of the Quran? And because you believe everything your priest tells you unconditionally, you just recite the Quran day and night; but are not able to implement its commandments in your lives, simply because you are not allowed to understand it. Thus, in truth, the people who do this have turned away from the guidance of the Quran. Allah says He will inflict the severest torment on the people who have turned away from the Revelations of Allah. Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or the priests?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraf verses 48-49:Then the people of the heights will recognize by their characteristics some ‘big’ personalities of the inmates of Hell, and will call out to them, saying, “You have seen that today neither your followers have availed you anything, nor your wealth and property, of which you were so proud. And, are not these inmates of Paradise the same people about whom you swore that Allah would not give them any portion of His Mercy? Today the same have been welcomed with the words, “Go into Paradise where you will have neither fear nor grief.”

Your priests solemnly promise that they will never leave your side on the Day of Qiyaamah, and they will make sure that if you followed them on this earth, they will lead you to Paradise. Allah, in the above aayah, shows us the reality of the matter of what is going to happen to the priests as well as their ardent followers who obeyed them unconditionally. Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or the priests?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus verses 35-36:Ask them, “Is there any of the partners you have set up with Allah, who guides to the Truth?” Say, “It is Allah Alone Who guides to the Truth.” Very well, then tell, “Who is more worthy to be followed: He Who guides to the Truth, or the one who cannot guide unless he himself is guided? What has then gone wrong with you that you make perverted judgments?” The fact is that most of them are following mere conjecture, whereas conjecture cannot in any way fulfill the requirements of the True Knowledge. Allah has full knowledge of what they are doing.

You have been told that the priests guide you to the Truth. Allah clearly declares that it is Allah Alone Who can guide to the Truth. Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or the priests?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 170-171:When it is said to them, “Follow the Commands that Allah has sent down”, they reply, “We will follow only what we found our forefathers practicing.” Well, will they go on following their forefathers even though they did not use common sense and did not find the Right Way! The mental condition of those who rejected the way of Allah may be likened to that of the cattle whom the shepherd calls but they hear nothing except the sound of shouts and cries. They are deaf, they are dumb, they are blind; therefore they do not understand anything.

You have simply taken the path followed by your forefathers, and religiously followed that path without ever referring to the guidance of the Holy Quran. Allah asks, Will they go on following their forefathers even though they did not use common sense and did not find the Right Way? Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or the priests?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 41 Surah Fusselat verse 37:Do not do ‘sajdah’ to the sun and the moon, but do ‘sajdah’ to that Allah, Who Created them, if you really are indeed His worshippers.

‘Sajdo tayne waajib che….’: That is what the priests teach you to do and you obey and bow down in ‘sajdah’ to them. Allah declares that if you are really Allah’s worshippers, then do not bow down in ‘sajdah’ to any of His creation. That is clear ‘shirk’!! Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or your priests?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumur verse 2-3:So worship Allah Alone, making your religion His exclusively. Beware! Religion is the exclusive Right of Allah. As for those who have taken other ‘auliyas’ (guardians) with Allah (and justify their this conduct by saying): “We serve them only that they may bring us closer to Allah.” Allah will surely judge between them concerning all that in which they differ. Allah does not show guidance to any liar and denier of the Truth.

You are told by the priests to invoke and serve the graves of the ‘chosen’ auliyaas so that they may get your prayers answered by Allah. Allah declares that Religion is His exclusive Right and no one has the right to be invoked except Allah Alone. If one invokes anyone with Allah, then it is clear ‘shirk’! Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or your priests?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzab verse 66-68:On the Day their faces are rolled about on the Fire, they will say, “Would that we had obeyed Allah and His Messenger!” And they will say, “O our Lord, we obeyed our CHIEFS and our GREAT MEN, and they led us astray from the Right Path. O our Lord, give them a double chastisement and curse them severely”.

You are told to obey your priests and all those whom he has given his ‘raza’. Allah says that all those who obeyed their chiefs and their great men will be engulfed in the Fire of Hell, and they will say with regret and sorrow on that day, “Would that we had obeyed Allah and His Messenger”! Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or your priests?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus verses 28-30:On the Day when We will muster them together, We shall say to those who committed ‘shirk’, “Stay where you are, you and those whom you set up as partners with Us.” The We shall remove the state of strangeness from among them, and the partners they had set up will say, “You did not worship us! Allah suffices as a witness between you and us, and (even if you worshipped us), we were utterly unaware of your worship!” At that time everyone will taste of what he did. All shall be brought back to Allah, their real Lord, and all the lies they had invented will vanish from them!

You are told to commit ‘shirk’ and invoke and worship at the graves of the most pious slaves of Allah (The Prophets, the Imaams, the martyrs, etc.). Allah shows the state of the people who invoked these noble slaves of Allah on the Day of Judgment in the above aayahs. All these noble slaves of Allah whom people invoke and worship at their graves today, will deny your worship and make Allah a witness that they were utterly unaware of their worship! Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or the priests?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anam verse 94:(And Allah will say), “So, you have come before Us all alone, as We created you at first. Now, you have left behind all that We gave you in the world. Now We do not see with you those ‘shufa’a’ (intercessors), who, you believed, had a share in moulding your destinies! All the relations between you and them have been cut off, and all those, in whom you trusted, have left you in the lurch.”

You are told that the priests will never leave you alone on the Day of Judgment and will help you and intercede for you with Allah. Allah says that He will call each one of us all alone and then take our accounting. All the ones whom we had named as our shufa’a (intercessors) with Allah and in whom we trusted, will leave us in the lurch! Who has a bigger right to be believed? Allah or the priests?

We can keep on giving evidence upon evidence from the Quran to determine the Truth from the falsehood, but only those who are truly in search for the Truth will accept it. Those who are bent on misguidance, and bent on following the deen of their forefathers blindly, and bent on obeying, invoking and following their priests unconditionally; they will reject all the guidance and warnings of Allah from the Holy Quran.

Our duty is only to invite you to determine the Truth from the Holy Quran. To accept or reject the Truth is upto you. And whatever you or I do, without a doubt, we will all be gathered in the Court of Allah on an Inevitable Day. Only the promises made by Allah will come out to be true on that Day; and all the promises made by the priests, without any authority from Allah, will be proven as falsehood and deceit.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verse 29:Proclaim, “This (Quran) is the Truth from your Lord: now whosoever wills may accept it, and whosoever wills may reject it.” (As for those who reject it) We have prepared for such workers of iniquity a fire whose flames have encircled them. There, if they as for water, they will be given a drink like the dregs of oil, which will burn their mouths! What an evil drink, and what an evil abode!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
