How to convert from Islam to Christianity?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His  forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

If Allah has blessed someone to convert from a pagan religion to the Truth of Islam, all he has to do is declare that there is no god except Allah, and Mohamed (saws) is His Messenger. Thus I assume that if one wants to leave Islam officially, he would have to announce his disbelief in the One and Only God, and disbelieve in the Last and Final Messenger of Allah, Mohamed ibn Abdullah (saws); and declare openly that he no longer wishes to be known as a muslim!

And if one wants to convert to Christianity, he may choose one of the hundreds of churches, contact its priest and declare his intention to convert to Christianity….we are sure they would be more than happy to help!

But if the person was wise, he would study and compare the Doctrine of Christianity (Bible) to the Revelations of the Glorious Quran, and determine for himself what is falsehood and what is the Truth! Our Creator has given each individual the faculty of intelligence and the power of reasoning, and given each person the free will to choose whatever path of life he wishes to follow. If one is indeed sincere in his search for the Truth, and implores his Merciful Creator to guide him; it is expected that the Merciful Lord will guide him to the Truth.

If the Lord has blessed one to be a believer, he should not think that he is doing a favor on the All Mighty Lord in the least; for Allah is indeed Self-Sufficient and stands in no need of anyone!

Allah says in His Glorious Quran Chapter 49 Surah Hujurat verses 17-18:

17 They impress on thee as favor that they have embraced Islam. Say "Count not your Islam as a favor upon me: Nay Allah has conferred a favor upon you that He has guided you to the Faith, if ye be true and sincere.”

18 Verily Allah knows the secrets of the heavens and the earth: and Allah sees well all that ye do.

The one who turns away from the faith of Islam, does no harm to Allah or to the Truth of Islam; but he harms only himself, and in the Hereafter he will be among the companions of the Hell Fire!

Allah says in His Glorious Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verses 54-56:

54 O ye who believe! If any from among you turn back from his faith (Al Islam), soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him; humble with the believers, mighty against the rejecters, fighting in the way of Allah, and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the Grace of Allah which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth: and Allah encompasseth all and He knoweth all things.

55 Your (real) friends are (no less than) Allah, His Apostle, and the (fellowship of) believers, those who establish regular prayers and regular charity and they bow down humbly (in worship).

As to those who turn (for friendship) to Allah, , His Apostle and the (fellowship of) believers; it is the fellowship of Allah that must certainly triumph.

Allah says in His Glorious Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 217:

Nor will they (the disbelievers) cease fighting you, until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you turn back from their faith (Al Islam), and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life, and in the Hereafter they will be Companions of the Fire and will abide therein.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
