Answer:

Aliens life on other planets

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Q-1:….there are already signs of life in other planets...and possibilty is there might be life there...other planets...other galaxies...why is there no mention of life on other planets in the Holy Quran???

Respected brother in Islam, we must realize that the Glorious Quran, although it contains many an information about the sciences of medicine, astronomy, geology, psychology, etc., it was not revealed to teach mankind the knowledge of these sciences which one may discover through research and experience, but it was revealed as a Book of Guidance to the Straight Path.

The Glorious Quran does not go against any confirmed scientific fact (like the earth revolves around its axis, or the movement in their orbits of the heavenly bodies, or the details of the unborn child in a mothers womb, etc.), for indeed the Quran was sent by none other than the One Who Created Science and gave it its Nature.

The existence of extra-terrestrial beings or ‘aliens’ is a theory, not a scientific fact! Allah Alone knows if such things as ‘aliens’ exist in outer space, and the Quran and Sunnah are silent about this topic. The Quran and the Sunnah neither confirm the existence of aliens in outer space, nor does it deny it; thus the only way to know for sure is if and when science confirms or denies its existence as a fact, not as a mere theory.

The reason the Quran and the Sunnah are silent on this or any other issue is not because the Lord Most Wise (and I seek refuge in Allah from even saying this!) forgot or is unaware, but because the information was not essential or needed for the guidance of mankind to the Straight Path. If the information was essential for the guidance of mankind, then without an iota of a doubt, it would have been related by Allah and His Messenger (saws) to mankind.

Regardless of whether there are other forms of life existing in outer space or not, the one thing we must be absolutely sure of is: if such life does or did exist, then that life would be, without an iota of a doubt, a creation of, and governed by the Laws of the One and Only Creator of all things in existence: Allah Subhanah,Who Alone is the Creator and Sustainer of everything, and we reiterate, absolutely everything in existence!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 34 Surah Saba verse 1:

1 Praise be to Allah to Whom belong all things in the heavens and on earth: to Him be Praise in the Hereafter: and He is Full of Wisdom acquainted with all things.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 30 Surah Rome verse 26:

26 To Him (Allah) belongs every being that is in the heavens and on earth: all are devoutly obedient to Him.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus verse 3:

3 Verily your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days and is firmly established on the Throne (of authority), regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah, your Lord; Him therefore serve ye: will ye not then celebrate His praises?

Q-2: ….have you ever thought...wondered...why God sent all his messengers to the middle east??? i don`t recal that there was a messenger of God sent to Africa...or south america....or for that mater china...russia...asia...!!!! when we all know that there was a vast civilisation in these parts or the globe!!! you ever thought about this????

Islam or the prescribed and approved ‘way of life’ for attaining peace in this world and salvation in the Hereafter by surrendering the will of man to the Will of Allah, was the religion which originated from the very first man who was sent to this world, the common father of all mankind and the Noble Prophet of Allah, Adam (a.s.).

This way of life (Islam) was the deen of all the Prophets who ever came to this earth. The Holy Quran mentions only about 26 Prophets of Allah by name, and the fact is that they all originated in the larger Middle East. All the Prophets mentioned by name in the Quran are from the the Bani Israel except four prophets who were from the Arabs.. namely: Prophet Hud (a.s.), Prophet Saleh (a.s.), Prophet Shuaib (a.s.), and the Last and Final Messenger of Allah, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (saws).

In light of the guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah, what we do know with absolute certainty is that Allah Subhanah sent His Prophets to every community and Ummah through all times and ages, starting with the first man on earth, Prophet Adam (a.s.) and ending with the Last and Final Prophet and the Seal of Allah’s Messengers, Prophet Mohamed ibn Abdullah (saws).

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 40 Surah Mumin verse 78:

78 We did aforetime send Prophets before thee (O Mohamed (saws)): of them there are some whose story We have related to thee, and others whose story We have not related to thee.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 13 Surah Raad verse 7:

7 And the Unbelievers say! "Why is not a Sign sent down to him (Prophet Mohamed (saws)) from his Lord?" But thou (O Prophet (saws)) art truly a warner, and to every people (We have sent) a Guide.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 35 Surah Fatir verses 24-26:

24 Verily We have sent thee (O Mohamed (saws)) in Truth as a bearer of glad tidings and as a warner: and there never was a people without a warner having lived among them (in the past).

25 And if they reject thee (O Mohamed (saws)), so did their predecessors to whom came their Messengers with Clear Signs, Books of Dark Prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.

26 In the end did I punish those who rejected faith: and how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)!

In light of the absolutely clear guidance of the Glorious Qruan, the Lord All-Just, All-Merciful sent His Prophets to every nation and every people all over the world; all relaying the exact same Message of belief and worship of the One and Only Lord Creator Alone.

It seems that the main reason and wisdom the Glorious Quran only finds mention of the names of the Prophets of Allah that originated in the Middle East, is that when Prophet Mohamed (saws) told them the stories of these Prophets, the people who were being addressed (The Arabs, the Jews, and the Christians, etc.) were already aware of those names, their message and their existence. Allah Subhanah cites the stories of various Prophets in His Glorious Qruan as examples, to warn the people, that Allah destroyed those communities before you that rejected the Message of Allah, and give good news to the believers. It was also to reconfirm to the Jews and Christians of the time (and even today), that Mohamed (saws) had not come with a new religion, but came to confirm the religion that they all claimed they followed, that is, the religion of Prophet Ibraheem (a.s.).. The Glorious Quran also states and declares that Prophet Mohamed (saws) was sent to confirm the Message of the previous Prophets, and set-right the corruptions these people had innovated/added/subtracted from their original religion, according to their own whims and fancies and without any right from Allah Subhanah.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verses 40-41:

40 O children of Israel! Call to mind the (special) favor which I bestowed upon you and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My covenant with you and fear none but Me.

41 And believe in what I reveal (Quran) confirming the Revelation which is with you and be not the first to reject faith therein, nor sell My Signs for a small price: and fear Me and Me alone

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa vese 47:

47 O ye people of the Book! Believe in what We have (now) revealed (The Quran) confirming what was (already) with you before We change the face and fame of some (of you) beyond all recognition and turn them hindwards or curse them as We cursed the Sabbath-breakers: for the Decisions of Allah must be carried out.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 92:

92 And this (Al-Quran) is a Book which We have revealed bringing blessings and confirming (the Revelations) which came before it:

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 35 Surah Fatir verse 31:

31 That which We have revealed to thee (O Mohamed (saws)) of the Book (Al-Quran) is the Truth confirming what was (Revealed) before it: for Allah is assuredly with respect to his servants, Well Acquainted and Fully-Observant!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 91:

91 When it is said to them: "believe in what Allah hath sent down" they say "We believe (only) in what was sent down to us"; yet they reject all besides, even if it be Truth confirming what is with them.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 101:

101 And when came to them a Messenger from Allah confirming what was with them, a party of the People of the Book threw away the Book of Allah behind their backs as if (it had been something) they did not know!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 48:

48 To thee (O Mohamed (saws)) We sent the Scripture (Al-Quran) in Truth, confirming the Scriptures that came before it and guarding it in safety; so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have We prescribed a Law and an Open Way. If Allah had so willed He would have made you a single people, but (His Plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute.

The disbelievers amongst the Arabs, the Jews, and the Christians of the times strongly opposed and rejected the Message and the Mission which Prophet Mohamed (saws) was sent on by His Lord, even though they well knew the names and stories of the ancient Prophets from their own Scriptures. One can only imagine what these evil rejecters and disbelievers in the Truth would have done and said if Prophet Mohamed (saws) told them the names and stories of the other Prophets of Allah whom they did not recognize, and of regions and people of the earth whom they had never even heard of!

In light of the absolutely clear guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah, it is evident that the Lord Most Just sent His Prophets to proclaim His Message to every people that ever existed on this earth…..a few amongst them whose stories are mentioned by name; and others whose stories or names do not find mention in the Last and Final Message of the Glorious Quran

Your Question: …God created angels...angels who obey..pure...made out of light...then why did iblis disobey??? as far as my knowledge goes...angels aren`t programmed to disobey God!!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumar verse 62:

62 Allah is the Creator of all things and He is the Guardian and Disposer of all affairs.

Allah Subhanah created absolutely everything in existence, including the Angels…and it is He Who bestowed the Angels their inherent nature of total and absolute purity, and unconditional obedience to His each and every Command.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 66 Surah Tahreem verse 6:

6 O ye who believe! Save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is men and stones over which are (appointed) Angels, stern and severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah; but they do (precisely and exactly) what they are Commanded.

Unlike men and Jinns, the Angels are neither bestowed with a ‘free will’ by their Lord to choose between obedience and disobedience, nor are they involved in a test, nor will they be held accountable for their deeds on that Inevitable and Tumultuous Day of Judgment!

Your Question:...then why did iblis disobey???

Contrary to popular (and obviously absolutely erroneous) belief, Iblees was NOT an Angel….but rather one amongst the Jinns who have been bestowed by their Lord with a ‘free will’ to choose between obedience and disobedience as a test for a limited period…..and the evil and accursed Iblees chose to disobey his Lord and Creator.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verse 50:

50 Behold! We said to the Angels "Bow down to Adam": they bowed down except Iblis. He (Iblees) was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrongdoers!

Your Question: ….see the thing is...something pure..like angels...can make mistakes....do evil...then humans...made out of sounding mud...clay...aren`t they bound to make mistakes??? i mean ...you know what i am talkin about right??? how will you answer this question if a non muslim asks you???how will you justify heaven and hell?? when even an angel can disobey God??

Respected brother, as quoted in the above Aayah of Surah Kahf, Allah Subhanah confirms in His Glorious Quran that Iblees was not an Angel, but rather one amongst the Jinns, who chose to disobey his Lord and Creator.

It seems that the whole misunderstanding that Iblees was one of the Angels and not from the Jinn race originates from the misinterpretation of the current Bible, where some amongst the Christian commentators have taken Lucifer to be the ‘fallen angel’!!!

12"How you are fallen from heaven,
O Day Star (Latin: Lucifer), son of Dawn!
How you are cut down to the ground,
you who laid the nations low!
13You said in your heart,
   'I will ascend to heaven;
above the stars of God
  I will set my throne on high;
I will sit on the mount of assembly
   in the far reaches of the north;
14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.'

Bible, Book of Isiah 14:12-14

There is absolutely no doubt from the Truth of the Glorious Quran that Iblees was not one amongst the Angels, but was rather from the Jinn race.

Your Statement:….see the thing is...something pure..like angels...can make mistakes....do evil...

Respected brother, in light of the absolutely clear Guidance of the Glorious Quran, the Angels of Allah are absolutely pure, unconditionally obedient to each and every Command of their Lord….and it is not in their nature, nor in their ‘program’, nor is it possible for them to ever make an error, or a mistake, or any evil whatsoever in the least!!!

The Lord Creator has just not bestowed His Angels with a ‘free will’ to choose between obedience and disobedience (like the humans and the Jinns), nor are they involved in a test, nor will they have an accounting, nor will they be rewarded with Paradise or condemned to Hell Fire!!!

Your Question:...then humans...made out of sounding mud...clay...aren`t they bound to make mistakes???

Amongst all His creation, the Lord Most High Chose to bestow only the humans (and the Jinns) with ‘free will’ to choose between obedience and disobedience, and thus involved them to a test for a limited period of one life.

Because of the nature of the ‘free will’ bestowed by their Lord, it is indeed accurate that humans are prone to error, mistakes, transgression and indeed sin.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: ‘Every son of Adam is a sinner; and the best (or most loved by Allah amongst them) are those who constantly turn to Allah in repentance.’

Related by Muslim.

The truth brother is that it was never the goal, or intent, or aim of creation to make the human beings sinless like the Angels….had that been the intent or the goal, the Lord Most High would never have created a creation who would be given the option or the choice to choose between obedience and disobedience!

What would be the purpose or wisdom of taking a ‘test’ or an ‘exam’ where the one giving the ‘test’ is not allowed or permitted to give a wrong or incorrect answer?? A ‘test’ is only a ‘test’ when one has the option to either choose the right answer and pass the ‘test’; or choose the wrong answer and thus fail the ‘test’!!!

Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (r.a.) reported that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: ‘By Him in Whose Hands is my life, if none of you (mankind) committed sin, Allah would annihilate you (from the face of this earth) and instead bring forth a people who would commit sin, then seek His forgiveness…so that He may forgive them.’

Related by Muslim

Such is the magnitude and vastness of the Mercy of our Supreme Examiner, that the Lord Most Gracious has allowed every human being (and the Jinns) the opportunity to ‘right’ the ‘wrong’ they might have done in their past, simply by turning to Him in ‘taubah’ and seeking sincere forgiveness…..but this ‘taubah’ is only acceptable if one does it during the period of their ‘test’, which is before one meets with their inevitable appointment of death….for that is when the ‘test’ ordained by Allah Subhanah ends!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumur verses 53-54:

(O Prophet) say: “O My servants who have wronged their own souls….Do not despair of Allah’s Mercy! Surely, Allah forgives all sins. He indeed is the All Forgiving, All Merciful. Return to your Lord and submit to Him before the scourge overtakes you; for then you may get no help from anywhere.”

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2357 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud

Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "He who repents of a sin is like him who has committed no sin."

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2339 Narrated by Abu Sa'id

Allah's Messenger (saws) said that the Shaytaan said, "By Thy Might, my Lord, I shall continue to lead Thy servants astray as long as their spirits are in their bodies!" The Lord, Who is Great and Glorious, replied, "By My Might, Glory and Exalted Station, I shall continue to pardon them as long as they ask My forgiveness!"

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2338 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar

Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "Allah accepts a servant's repentance (taubah) till he gives up his spirit in death."

Just as man is prone to error, and mistakes, and transgression, and sin….he has also been given the ‘intelligence’ and the ‘free will’ for a transitory period of one life time to choose to turn back to his Lord Creator in ‘taubah’ and seek repentance for his sins! Only those who constantly choose and exercise this option of ‘taubah’ and seeking repentance for their transgressions will be successful in the Hereafter!

Instead of wasting one’s energy and invaluable (and limited) time in challenging the very nature of the test one is involved in, it would be prudence, and intelligence, and wisdom, and definitely better for one’s life in this world and indeed the Hereafter if one were to accept the ‘test’ one is involved in, and expend their energy and their time in choosing to turn unto their Lord in ‘taubah’ and seeking repentance.

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
