Verse not from quran.

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Assalamu alikum,In a discussion I got the following response from one.Is this true and what it really means?

"This same quran says it is OK to lop off the heads of people that don`t agree with you and you will be given a special place in paradise if you do."

(There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.)

Answer:

Verse not from quran

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

"This same quran says it is OK to lop off the heads of people that don`t agree with you and you will be given a special place in paradise if you do."

Respected brother, we absolutely assure you in the Blessed Name of Allah Subhanah that there is absolutely no such Verse or Guidance in the whole of the Glorious Quran!

The person who quoted this sentence and attributed it to be from the Glorious Quran should be asked to provide the Surah Name and Verse Number, if indeed he is truthful….and we absolutely assure you that there no such Verse in the whole of the Glorious Quran!

Respected brother in Islam, we remind you as we remind ourselves, that one should fear Allah and be extremely careful when quoting or attributing something to Allah Subahnah and/or His Messenger (saws); for the chastisement of intentionally attributing a lie or a falsehood to Allah Subhanah and/or His Messenger (saws) is an absolute enormity and an abomination in the Sight of the Lord Most Majestic, Most Supreme!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 79:

Then woe to those who write The Book with their own hands, and then say, “This is from Allah”, so that they might gain some paltry worldly price. This writing of their hands will bring woe to them, and what they gain thereby will lead to their ruin!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf verse 37:

37 Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or rejects his Signs?

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 29 Surah Ankabut verse 68:

68 And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects the Truth when it reaches Him? Is there not a home in Hell for those who reject faith?

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
