Answer:
Gynae check up ghusl
or body wash
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah
Maidah Verse 6:
6 O ye who believe! When ye prepare for prayer wash your faces and your
hands (and arms) to the elbows; rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your
feet to the ankles. If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity bathe your whole body. But if ye are ill or on a journey, or one of
you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women and
ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth and rub
therewith your faces and hands. Allah
does not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to
complete His favors to you that ye may be grateful.
The deeds or acts which constitute ceremonial or major
impurity in Shariah whereby it becomes obligatory for one to perform the
ghusl or full bath of purification before they make themselves available for
prayer are:
- Sexual
intercourse.
- Full
sexual (semen) discharge (intentional or unintentional)
- Post
normal and post child-birth menstruation of the women.
- When
the private parts of the male so much as even touch the private parts of
the female, absolute regardless of whether a full sexual discharge was
experienced or not.
Your Question: If a muslim sister goes to a female gynaec
for the ultrasould for her uterus (the doctor put gel in her uterus (private
part) and check in that case after the check up does she have to take a full bath
(from Head) or a body bath is sufficient for salah?
If a believing sister happens to visit her gynecologist
for the ultra-sound or any other purpose and the doctor places the gel on
her stomach or her private parts, or even if she were to insert any object into
her private parts, etc.it would not effect the state of ceremonial purity of
the sister in the least, and there is absolutely no obligation in Shariah for
the believing sister to purify herself with a ghusl or full bath
thereafter.
She is at absolute liberty to wash her private parts,
perform the wudu and make herself available for prayer.
