Answer:

Saw a Jinn

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Jinn: the literal meaning of the Arabic term ‘jinn’ is something which is hidden or cannot be seen.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraf verse 27:

27 O ye children of Adam! Let not the Shaytaan seduce you in the same manner as he got your parents (Adam and Hawwa) out of the Garden stripping them of their raiment to expose their shame: for he and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them: We made the ‘shayateen’ friends (only) to those without faith.

Dear and Beloved Brother, in light of the above absolutely clear guidance of the Holy Quran, it is not possible for a human being to ‘see’ a Jinn; thus what you think you ‘saw’ was either an imagination or a perception!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 114 Surah An-Naas verses 1-6”

1 Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind

2 The King (or Ruler) of Mankind

3 The Allah (or Judge) of Mankind

4 From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil) who withdraws (after his whisper)

5 (The same) who whispers into the hearts of mankind

6 Among Jinns and among Men.

Beloved brother, rest assured that the ‘Jinns’ have not been bestowed with the power to touch, catch, move, pull, or hurt any human being. In light of the above guidance of the Holy Quran the absolutely maximum an evil amongst the ‘jinns’ can do is whisper some evil thought in the hearts of men. Other than this act of whispering into men’s hearts, the Jinn race are absolutely powerless to do anything to any amongst the human race!

Thus absolutely rest assured that what you think you saw as a ‘jinn’ was no more than your imagination and perception. If ever you get such a feeling again, immediately seek refuge in Allah Subhanah from the accursed Shaytaan by declaring ‘Aoodobillahe minas Shaytaan ar-rajeem’, and recite the 113th Surah Al-Falaq and the 114th Surah An-Naas; it is expected that Allah Subhanah will protect you from any and all evil.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
