Sister wants to send us money

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

hi i will post some money or a check to you ok

(There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.)

Answer:

Sister wants to send us money

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Our beloved, dear and respected sister in Islam, may Allah Subhanah bless you and increase your reward for your kind intention and gesture in offering us your help and support in this noble cause of Allah Subhanah. But sister, the honest truth is that not much money is needed to formulate and moderate this forum, as each and every brother and sister who help moderate and run this forum do so on an absolute voluntary basis, seeking nothing but the Forgiveness, Pleasure, and Good Will of the Merciful Lord.

May Allah Subhanah reward you from His Unending and Endless Bounties for your intention, and we request you to spend this money in giving it to the poor and needy, or to an orphanage or widow-house, or to any good institution who accepts monetary help to further the propagation of the Truth from the Quran and Sunnah. And rest assured that anything you spend in the Cause of Allah Subhanah, The Self-Sufficient and Merciful Lord has promised a manifold and unending reward to the doers of good deeds.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 261: The parable of those who spend their substance in the way of Allah is that of a grain of corn: it groweth seven ears and each ear hath a hundred grains. Allah giveth manifold increase to whom He Pleaseth; and Allah careth for all, and He knoweth all things.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 64 Surah Taghabun verses 16-17:

16 So fear Allah as much as ye can; listen and obey; and spend in charity for the benefit of your own souls: and those saved from the covetousness of their own souls they are the ones that achieve prosperity.

17 If ye loan to Allah a beautiful loan He will double it to your (credit) and He will grant you Forgiveness: for Allah is most Ready to appreciate (service), Most Forbearing

Beloved sister in Islam, we again reiterate our gratefulness to you for your intention to help in this noble cause of Allah Subhanah; but in all humility we must decline your offer. Allah is our witness, we expect or ask for absolutely no reward from anyone except the Merciful Lord, for the service that we provide through this humble forum; for the only wish and intention of every single brother and sister who spends her/his selfless efforts and countless hours in moderating this humble forum is that he/she may be able to say what every righteous slave of Allah Subhanah said when propagating the Truth to those who willed to listen to good caution:

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 25 Surah Furqan verse 57: Say: "No reward do I ask of you for it, but this: that each one who will, may take a (straight) Path to his Lord."

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 34 Surah Saba verse 47: Say: "No reward do I ask of you: it is (all) in your interest: my reward is only due from Allah: and He is Witness to all things.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 92 Surah Al-Layl verses 19-20:

19 And have in their minds no favor from anyone for which a reward is expected in return

20 But only the desire to seek for the countenance of their Lord, Most High.

We hope and pray that you will understand and forgive us for declining your generous offer, and we pray that Allah Subhanah reward you for your intentions from His Unending Mercy, in the life of this world and in the Hereafter.

Beloved and dear Sister in Islam, if our humble efforts have been beneficial to you in any way, then in all humility we do implore you for one invaluable favor: that you supplicate the Merciful Lord for us in your prayers, and ask him to forgive us our sins and pardon our short-comings for the weak efforts we try to do in His Cause, and save each and every brother and sister who help moderate this forum from the Hell Fire on The Day which is absolutely inevitable.

Sahih Muslim Hadith 6588 Narrated by Abud Darda

Allah's Messenger (saws) said: ‘There is no believing servant who supplicates for his brother behind his back, that the Angels do not say: “The same be for you too.”’

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
