Do you follow Quran and Hadiths?

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Aslaamalaikum wr.wb., Jazak-Allah! for this site, my simple question is do you follow Quran and Sunnah? if yes which are your books of Hadiths??

(There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.)

Answer:

Do you follow Quran and Hadiths?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

We would like to clarify to you that the reason we named our forum ‘dawoodibohrahelpline’ is that we were born into Dawoodi Bohra (a sub-sect of Shia-Ismaili school of thought) families. At various times of our lives, Allah Subhanah had mercy upon us and guided us to read and understand the Holy Quran. We have thus left being members of any sect and have come to mainstream Islam, and become muslims as commanded by Allah Subhanah in the Holy Quran. We have thus made it our mission to guide our mis-guided Bohra brethren to leave the worship of men and graves as they do in their deen, and come to the worship of the One Lord Allah Alone.

Thus, in answering your specific questions, we will only answer for ourselves and our beliefs; and not the falsehood that the Dawoodi Bohras believe.

Your comment: do you follow Quran and Sunnah?

Allah is our witness, we believe, obey and follow only what is stated in the Holy Quran and the authentic Sunnah of the Last Messenger of Allah, Mohamed ar Rasool Allah (saws).

Your comment: if yes which are your books of Hadiths??

The books of hadiths which we refer to are Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Nisai, Abu Dawood, Muwatta Imam Malik, and other books of hadiths which are accepted as authentic by the majority of the eminent muslim scholars.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
