Showing films about Hajj

What is the ruling on showing educational films about the rituals of Hajj in the mosque or Islamic centre for people who want to go for Hajj?

We put this question to Shaykh ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Jibreen (may Allaah preserve him) who replied as follows:
This action is obviously beneficial in terms of sharee’ah, and there is a need to use pictures to teach them, because descriptions alone may not be sufficient. Pictures in films are not lasting, so they do not come under the rulings that forbid taking pictures. And Allaah knows best.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah's Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
