It is permissible for a woman to take something to prevent her period so she can do Hajj

Praise be to Allaah.

There is nothing wrong with a woman taking contraceptive pills to prevent her period during Ramadaan so that she can fast with the people, and during the days of Hajj so that she can do tawaaf with the people and not miss out on any of the actions of Hajj. If she can find something other than the pill to stop her period, there is nothing wrong with that so long as it is not haraam according to sharee’ah and is not harmful.”
