How to stop feeling tired all the time

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 35 Surah Fatir verse 6:

6 Verily the Shaytaan is an enemy to you: so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his adherents that they may become companions of the Blazing Fire.

Sahih Muslim Hadith 144 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

When the son of Adam recites the Ayah of Sajdah (from the Glorious Quran) and then falls down in prostration, the Shaytaan goes into seclusion and weeps and says: ‘Alas! Woe unto me! The son of Adam was commanded to prostrate, and he prostrated and Paradise was entitled to him; and I was commanded to prostrate, but I refused and am doomed to Hell.

Respected sister in Islam, nothing hurts the accursed enemy of mankind, the evil and rejected Shaytaan, than when a believer does any act or deed which finds acceptance and favor with Allah Subhanah….and it is only expected that the accursed Shaytaan will do whatever is in his power to stop the believer from fulfilling their noble intention in worshipping or obeying the Commands of their Lord Creator. Thus my beloved sister, your reaction that you feel sleepy whenever you intend to recite the Glorious Words of Allah Subhanah are not without reason…..for it hurts and pains the accursed and rejected Shaytaan no end when one amongst the believers intends to worship their Lord Creator! The one and only mission and ambition of this accursed enemy of ours, the Shaytaan, is to take as many of the children of Adam as he can into the Hell Fire!

Isn’t is surprising sister, that one can sit for hours on end and watch a boring movie, or read an uninteresting book, or talk casual or vain talk with friends all night, or play sport, or games, or cards, etc. for hours and hours ….. and the thought of sleep does not even enter their mind!....but as soon as one makes intention to recite the Glorious Quran, or pray a few rakahs of ‘nafl’ prayers, or do a deed or an act which finds favor with Allah Subhanah…..boom! …. the attack of the Shaytaan appears from nowhere and one gets a feeling of tiredness, laziness, drowsiness, sleep, etc.!

In our humble opinion, The best thing you can do is to be patient and keep doing good righteous deeds, keep in the state of wudhu always, offer the prescribed prayers in time, read the Noble Quran with understanding daily as much as is easy for you, fast during Ramadhan, keep in the company of good muslima sisters, do voluntary fasts as are easy for you and make as much supplications (duaa) as you can. InshaAllah soon you will find a change and your moods will become normal.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 13 Surah Raad verse 28-29:

The people who have accepted (the Message),  their hearts find comfort in the remembrance of Allah.  Note it well!, That it is Allah’s Remembrance Alone that brings contentment to the hearts!  Blessed are those who have accepted the Message and done righteous deeds.   They will have a good end.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 186:

And if  My servants ask you,  O Prophet, concerning Me,  tell them that I am quite near to them.   I hear and answer the prayer of the suppliant,  when he calls on Me.  So let them respond to My call and believe in Me.  (Convey this to them),  perhaps they may be guided aright!

Salman reported that the Prophet (saws), said, "Your Lord, the Blessed and the Exalted One, is Modest and Generous, and He loathes to turn away His servant empty-handed when he raises his hands to Him in supplication."

Narrated by Ahmad and Ibn Hibban.

Abu Hurairah reported, "The Prophet (saws) said, "Nothing is more dear to Allah than one's supplication to Him.''

Narrated by Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is only ones. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
