Answer:

Things to do during new born baby

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Statement: first of I wants to pray to allah to give success in your work which you have taken on your shoulders, and may allah bless all of us ...Aameen

May Allah Subhanah reward you with the best of this world and the Hereafter for your kind comments of encouragement for our humble efforts in the propagation of the Truth. We humbly hope, beg, and pray the Merciful Lord accepts our humble and weak efforts, forgive us our shortcomings, and save you, us, and all the believers from the torment of the Hell Fire. Ameen.

Q-1: After Saying Azan in the both ears do I have to put a drop of Honey?

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 5.248 Narrated by Asma

That she conceived 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair. She added, "I migrated to Medina while I was at full term of pregnancy and alighted at Quba where I gave birth to him. Then I brought him to the Prophet (saws) and put him in his lap. The Prophet (saws) asked for a date, chewed it, and put some of its juice in the child's mouth. So, the first thing that entered the child's stomach was the saliva of the Messenger of Allah (saws). Then the Prophet (saws) rubbed the child's palate with a date and invoked for Allah's Blessings on him, and he was the first child born amongst the Emigrants in the Islamic Land (i.e. Medina).

The Messenger of Allah (saws) used to chew a date, and put some of its juice in the new-born baby’s mouth.

Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 5086 Narrated byAbu Rafi'

I saw the Messenger of Allah (saws) uttering the call to prayer (Adhan) in the ear of al-Hasan ibn Ali when Fatimah gave birth to him.

Declaring the ‘Adhaan’ in both the ears is the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws). There is absolutely no evidence in the practice of the Messenger of Allah (saws) that he would put a drop of honey in the new-born baby’s ear!

Q-2: Many peoples are asking to my wife to byheart an dua which will help her in her labour, it true? if it is then please tell me the Dua.

There is no particular or specific dua or supplication taught by the Messenger of Allah (saws) which will help a child-bearing mother during her labor.

But it would be prudent of the child-bearing woman to constantly remember Allah Subhanah and be grateful to Him for His favors. She may recite the Aayat-ul-Kursi, Surah Al-Falak, Surah An-Naas, or any supplications she wishes to Allah Subhanah and seek His Protection, Mercy, help and guidance.

Q-3: After the delivery the mother can listen the Quraan during her 40 days? or she can read those chapters which she remembers?

There is no limit of forty days after the delivery of the baby. Until the post child-birth bleeding does not stop, it is not permissible for the believing woman to touch the Holy Quran. But there is absolutely no harm if she listens to the recitation of the Glorious Quran from someone else, or through a radio, cassette player, television, etc. Nor is there any harm if she recites the Glorious Quran from memory.

Q-4: Because Ramadhan is coming so she can feed the baby during fasting?

The breast-feeding of the baby does not invalidate the fast of the mother in any way. But if the mother feels that her fasting is affecting the feeding, or if she feels too weak because of her breast-feeding while in the state of fast; there is no harm and no sin upon her if she breaks/leaves her fasts, and makes up for the missed fasts at a later date.

Although you have not asked, we would like to point out the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws) known as ‘Aqiqa’. It is as follows:

Sacrifice as a sign of gratitude to Allah Subhanah on the 7th day, and assign a good name for the new born.

Shave the head of the infant, and give weight of its hair in silver as sadaqa or charity.

Eat the meat of the sacrifice yourself, and distribute to friends/family and needy.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
