One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Dear Burhan Bhai..... Assalam-o-Alaikum!!!!!!!!

I posted you the following questions about 45~50 days ago. The answer of the questions are still awaited. I am very much disappointed that still I am waiting the answers. BUT NOW, I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE SEND ME THE ANSWERS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THANX

1) I know Oral Sex is almost probihited (as it is under Khabbaith/closer to forbidden). But, if both husband and wife in their initial days of marriage life were unaware that it is forbidden and with the passaage of time it becomes their compultion although they want to stop this......... BUT, while making sex/intercourse, they are fully agreed and are pleased/happy by doing SUCKING each others organs (although they know it is unclean, unhygeinic, impure and unhealthy)............ SO WHAT ??????? Plz answer me at the earliest.

2) A friend of mine told me that Jabal-e-Rehmat is the place where Hazrat Adam a.s. repented for eating the forbidden fruit of Paradise and asked Allah`s mercy by saying this that "in the name of Muhammad (SAW) that name I saw in Paradise .. plz forgive me ALLAH". Is it means that ALLAH Subhana Taala planned the birth of Muhammad (SAW) even before the birth of Hazrat Adam and this whole Universe is being created just for Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw/pbuh). IS THIS TRUE....and is this have any Qaranic or Sunnah evidence????

3) Kinldy let me know about `SALAT-O-TASBEEH". I have seen this prayer is famous among the ladies of Pakistan and this is being said on Fridays. Is there any evidence of this prayer to be said by the UMAHAT-UL-MOMINEEN, etc. I saw during HAJJ...... the ladies are saying this prayer on the top floor of MASJIDE HARAAM after Namze Ishaa....... Plz tell me about its authencity according to Quran & Sunnah.

Answer:

Oral sex

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Q-1:… I know Oral Sex is almost probihited (as it is under Khabbaith/closer to forbidden).

To derive pleasure by touching ones spouse’s private parts with the mouth is what is known as ‘oral sex’. Such an act is obviously unnatural, unhealthy, unhygienic, unclean, impure and this act is not found even in any of the lower animate creations!

Because oral sex is a new deviation of mankind, it finds specific mention neither in the Quran nor the Sunnah!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf verse 157:

157 Those who follow the Messenger, the ‘Ummi’ (unlettered) Prophet (Mohammed (saws)) whom they find mentioned in their own (Scriptures); in the Law and the Gospel; for he (Prophet Mohamed (saws)) commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil: he allows them as lawful what is ‘tayyibaat’ (good and pure) and prohibits them from what is ‘Khabaayith’ (bad, evil and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honor him, help him, and follow the Light which is sent down with him: it is they who will prosper."

But since the permissibility/impermissibility of this specific act of what is known today as ‘oral sex’ is not mentioned by name or act anywhere in the Quran and the Sunnah, the God-fearing and the pious amongst the scholars in Islam have abstained from declaring it ‘haraam’; the most they have said is that the act is from the ‘khabaaith’ (impure) and thus closer to the haraam than to the halaal, and the believers should fear Allah and abstain from it.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 3.267 Narrated by An Numan bin Bashir

The Prophet (saws) said "Both the halaal (lawful) and the haraam (unlawful) things are (made) obvious, and in between them are (suspicious) doubtful matters. So whoever forsakes those doubtful things lest he may commit a sin, will definitely avoid what is clearly unlawful; and whoever indulges in these (suspicious) doubtful things bravely, is likely to commit what is clearly illegal. Sins are Allah's Hima (i.e. private pasture) and whoever pastures (his sheep) near it, is likely to get in it at any moment."

Given the unbelievable liberty Islam has granted to the husband and the wife to enjoy conjugal relations in their sacred bond of marriage, in our humble opinion, it would be best for the believers who sincerely fear Allah and the Last Day to strive to abstain from this doubtful act of ‘oral sex’; and Allah Alone Knows Best.

Q-2: A friend of mine told me that Jabal-e-Rehmat is the place where Hazrat Adam a.s. repented for eating the forbidden fruit of Paradise and asked Allah`s mercy by saying this that "in the name of Muhammad (SAW) that name I saw in Paradise .. plz forgive me ALLAH".

There is absolutely no truth to this fabrication and myth that the repentance of Prophet Adam (a.s.) was only accepted by Allah Subhanah after he made the supplication using the ‘name’ of Prophet Mohamed (saws)! This false notion of Prophet Adam (a.s.) using the ‘name’ of Prophet Mohammed (saws) is absolutely against the guidance and teachings of the Holy Quran!!!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verses 36-37:

36 Then did the Shaytaan make them (Adam and Hawwa) slip from the (Garden) and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said: "Get ye down all (ye people) with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling place and your means of livelihood for a time."

37 Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration and his Lord turned towards him (in Mercy and Forgiveness); for He is Oft-Returning Most Merciful.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf verses 19-25:

19 (Allah Declared) ‘O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden and enjoy (its good things) as ye wish: but approach not this tree or ye run into harm and transgression."

20 Then began the Shaytaan to whisper suggestions to them bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said "Your Lord only forbade you this tree lest ye should become Angels, or such beings as live for ever."

21 And he swore to them both that he was their sincere adviser.

22 So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree their shame became manifest to them and they began to sew together the leaves of the Garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you that the Shaytaan was an avowed enemy unto you?"

23 They said: "O our Lord! We have wronged our own souls: if Thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy Mercy we shall certainly be lost."

24 (Allah) said: "Get ye down with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood for a time."

25 He said: "therein shall ye live and therein shall ye die; but from it shall ye be taken out (at last)."

In light of the above absolutely clear Aayahs of the Glorious Quran, it is clear that Prophet Adam (a.s.) and Hadrat Hawwa learnt the exact words of the supplication from Allah Subhanah and sought their Lord’s Forgiveness immediately after their transgression in the Garden itself. The Merciful Lord accepted their repentance and forgave them, and only then did He send them to the earth to give their full test of life.

Q-3: Kinldy let me know about `SALAT-O-TASBEEH".

'Ikrimah reports from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said to 'Abbas ibn 'Abdal-Mutalib: "O 'Abbas, O Uncle, shall I not give you, shall I not present to you, shall I not donate to you, shall I not tell you ten things which, if you do, Allah will forgive your first and last sins, past and present sins, intentional and unintentional sins, private and public sins? The ten actions are: pray four rak'at, reciting in every rak'ah al-Fatihah and a surah. And when you finish the Qur'anic recitation of the first rak'ah, say, while standing, 'Subhanallah, al-hamdulillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wa Allahu Akbar' ['Glory be to Allah. All praise is due to Allah. There is no God except Allah. Allah is the greatest.'] fifteen times. Then make ruku', and while you are in ruku', say the same ten times; then stand, and say the same ten times. Then go down and make sajdah, and while you're in sajdah, say the same ten times. Then sit after the sajdah, and say the same ten times. Then make sajdah, and say the same ten times. Then sit after the second sajdah, and say the same another ten times. That is seventy-five [repetitions of the phrases] in each rak'ah. Do that in each of the four rak'at. If you can pray it once a day, do so. If you cannot, then once every Friday. If you cannot do that, then once a year. And if you cannot do that then once in your life."

Related by Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Ibn Khuzaimah, and at-Tabarani.

The above narration by Ikrimah is quoted as ‘sahih’ or authentic by several recorders of ahaadiths. Some scholars however have a difference of opinion and say that the above narration is not authentic, and there is no mention of the Prayer of Tasbih or ‘Salaat ul Tasbih’ in any of the four major schools of thought in Islam.

The prayer of ‘tasbih’ are voluntary and optional, and if one prays the prayer and his intention is to follow the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws), he will have his due reward from Allah Subhanah, Insha Allah; and if one does not offer it for any reason, there is absolutely no obligation or sin upon him. And Allah Alone Knows Best.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
