Answer:

Making dua remember

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: my question is when do i make duaá, do i have to  be in wudu to make duaa? is it after salah?

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 186:

And if My servants ask you, O Prophet, concerning Me, tell them that I am quite near to them. I hear and answer the prayer of the suppliant, when he calls on Me. So let them respond to My call and believe in Me. (Convey this to them), perhaps they may be guided aright!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale-Imraan verses 191-195:

191 Those who Remember Allah standing, sitting, and/or lying down on their sides and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth (with the thought): "O Our Lord! Not for naught hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire.

192 O Our Lord! Any whom Thou dost admit to the Fire truly Thou coverest with shame; and never will wrong-doers find any helpers!.

193 O Our Lord! We have heard the call of one calling (us) to faith `Believe ye in the Lord' and we have believed. O Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous.

194 O Our Lord! Grant us what Thou didst promise unto us through Thine Messengers, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: for Thou never breakest Thy Promises."

195 And their Lord hath accepted of them and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: ye are members one of another; those who have left their homes or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain; verily I will blot out from them their iniquities and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath; a reward from the Presence of Allah, and from His Presence is the best of rewards."

Abu Hurairah reported, "The Prophet (saws) said, "Nothing is more dear to Allah than one's supplication to Him.''

Narrated by Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.

Salman reported that the Prophet (saws), said, "Your Lord, the Blessed and the Exalted One, is Modest and Generous, and He loathes to turn away His servant empty-handed when he raises his hands to Him in supplication."

Narrated by Ahmad and Ibn Hibban.

The doors of the ‘acceptance’ of supplications of the Lord Most Gracious are open 24 hours a day / 7 days a week…..and one is at absolute liberty to call upon their Lord Most Gracious anytime they will and please, regardless of whether they happen to be standing, sitting, or lying down on their sides at any time of the day and night….and there is absolutely no requirement or obligation upon the believers to be in the state of ‘wudu’ when calling upon or invoking or making supplications unto their Lord Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 6:

6 O ye who believe! When ye prepare for prayer wash your faces and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles.

The only acts in Islam whereby the ‘wudu’ is absolutely obligatory and a pre-condition, is when one is about to offer a prayer or while circumambulating (tawaaf of) the Holy Kaaba; if these two rites are performed without the ‘wudu’, it would nullify the rites. It is preferred (not obligatory) to be in the sate of ‘wudu’ when reciting the Glorious Quran.

Your Question: ….as the list is big i cannot take each and every person names and their reason can i make duaa that O Allah whoever asked me to pray for them kindlky grant them?

There is absolutely no harm if one makes a ‘general’ supplication of acceptance unto their Lord Most Gracious for all those who asked them to remember them in their supplications.

Your Question: ….second thing when some one ask me to remember them in my duaa  I say inshaallah . if i forget is it sin for me?

If someone asks one to remember them in their supplications, and one accepts their plea and says ‘Insha Allah’ (if Allah Wills) with the intention to fulfill their request….and then perchance one happens to forget to make supplications for them, not only is there absolutely no harm and no sin; but their Lord Most Gracious will reward them for making the intention to supplicate for their brethren.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
