Brother Asalamu alaikum

Urgent.

Answer:
Eat at groom’s house
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
It is a part and custom of some pagan cultures which
prohibit and discourage the bride’s family from eating or even drinking water
at the groom’s house….as long as the food or drink being presented is lawful in
its essence, there is absolutely no prohibition in Islam regarding the houses
where a believer can eat or drink.
If one is invited to share a meal at the groom’s place,
and the food and drink being presented is lawful…..the believers are at
absolute liberty to consume that lawful food and drink to their heart’s desire.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
