Answer:

Do istakhara for another

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: Can u perform an istikhara for my marriage that whether i will marry this year or not…… or can u tell me how much time is for my marriage by performing an istikhara by u.

Saad ibn Waqas (r.a.) reported that the Prophet (saws) said, "Istikharah” (seeking guidance from Allah) is one of the distinct favors (of Allah) upon man, and a good fortune for the son of Adam is to be pleased with the Judgment of Allah. And a misfortune of the son of Adam is his failure to make istikharah, and a misfortune for the son of Adam is his displeasure with the Judgment of Allah."

Hadrat Jabir (r.a.) reports that ‘the Prophet (saws) would teach us ‘al-Istikharah’ for all of our affairs as he would teach us a Surah of the Qu'ran. He (saws) said 'if one of you is deliberating over an act, he should pray two rak'ahs and recite the supplication of ‘Istakhara’.’’

My dear and respected sister in Islam, the Sunnah of ‘istakhara’ prayer and supplication taught by the Messenger of Allah (saws) is not a process where one can look into and predict the future….but rather if one reads the supplication of ‘istakhara’ taught by the Messenger of Allah (saws) with understanding, one would realize that through the process of ‘istakhara’ one declares one’s absolute faith and trust in their Lord Most High, and puts their unconditional belief and trust in the Decree of their Lord Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Translation of the dua or supplication of ‘istakhara’:

O Allah! I seek Your guidance (in making a choice) by virtue of Your
knowledge, and I seek ability by virtue of Your power, and I ask You of Your
great bounty. You have power, I have none. And You know, I know not. You are
the Knower of hidden things.
O Allah! If in Your knowledge, (this matter) is good for my religion, my
livelihood and my affairs; immediate and in the distant, then ordain for me,
make it easy for me and bless it for me. And if in Your knowledge, (this
matter) is bad for my religion, my livelihood and my affairs; immediate and
in the distant, then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it. And
ordain for me the good wherever it be and make me pleased with it.

Secondly sister, the Sunnah of ‘istikhara’ is best performed by one who has to make a decision to choose between two (or more) lawful alternatives….not by one who wishes to ascertain whether or not something will happen or transpire to them or their loved ones in the future!

And thirdly sister, the Sunnah of ‘istakhara’ is best performed by the one who has to make the decision to choose between two (or more) lawful alternatives themselves, and definitely not by a third party who has absolutely nothing to do with making the choice or the decision!

Not only would it be unacceptable and wrong for you to ask us (or anyone else) to perform the Sunnah of ‘istakhara’ for you…..it would be an even greater wrong if (Allah forbid) we were to fulfill the rites of ‘istakhara’ for you! Allah is our witness sister, that would make a complete mockery of the process and the noble Sunnah of ‘istakhara’ as taught by the Messenger of Allah!!!

As your brothers and sincere well-wishers in faith sister, in all humility we urge you that just because we have refused to perform the rites of ‘istakhara’ for you (and Allah is our witness sister, that alone is the right thing for us to do)….please do not approach another ‘imaam’ or ‘moulvi’ or scholar who is known to or agrees to fulfill this rite for you in return for some favor or paltry material gain….for that would be akin to making a complete mockery of the noble Sunnah of ‘istakhara’ in the Sight of the Lord Most High! If you find any ‘imaam’, or ‘moulvi’ or scholar or any third party who agrees to fulfill the rites of ‘istakhara’ for you, and in his foolishness gives you a decision or a path for you to take….respected sister, know and believe with absolute conviction that that unscrupulous person is an absolute fraud and a con-artist who neither fears Allah nor the Last Day!

My dear and beloved sister in Islam, as much as you may be worried and anxious regarding the delay in your and your sisters marriage…..rest absolutely assured that your Lord Most Majestic Most Supreme is well aware of your exact condition and anxiety and needs and desires….and it is He and He Alone Who has the Power and the Strength to fulfill every lawful aspiration of each in His creation.

Thus my beloved sister, you should keep your complete faith and trust in your Lord Most Supreme Alone, and remain constant in relentlessly invoking, supplicating, and beseeching Him and Him Alone for all your lawful desires.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 186:

And if My servants ask you, O Prophet, concerning Me, tell them that I am quite near to them. I hear and answer the prayer of the suppliant, when he calls on Me. So let them respond to My call and believe in Me. (Convey this to them), perhaps they may be guided aright!

Abu Hurairah reported, "The Prophet (saws) said, "Nothing is more dear to Allah than one's supplication to Him.''

Narrated by Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.

Ibn Mas'ud reported that the Prophet (saws), said, "If any servant of Allah afflicted with distress or grief makes this supplication, his supplication will be accepted: 'O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of your maidservant. My forehead is in Your hand. Your command concerning me prevails, and Your decision concerning me is just. I call upon You by every one of the beautiful names by which You have described Yourself, or which You have revealed in Your book, or have taught anyone of Your creatures, or which You have chosen to keep in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, the light of my breast, and remover of my griefs, sorrows, and afflictions'." A supplication in these words will be answered. Allah will remove one's affliction and replace it with joy and happiness.

Salman reported that the Prophet (saws), said, "Your Lord, the Blessed and the Exalted One, is Modest and Generous, and He loathes to turn away His servant empty-handed when he raises his hands to Him in supplication."

Narrated by Ahmad and Ibn Hibban.

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2248 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "There are three whose supplication is not rejected: one who has just ended a fast, a just imam, and one who has been wronged, whose supplication is raised by Allah above the clouds and for which the gates of Heaven are opened. The Lord says, 'I swear by My Might that I shall certainly help you, though it be after some time.'"

Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (saws) said, "Your supplication will be answered if you are not impatient, and if you do not say, 'I supplicated but my supplication was not heard'."

Narrated by Malik.

Your Question: Is there any bandish or black magic on our family

Allah Says in His Holy Quran Chapter 35 Surah Fatir verse 2:

2 What Allah out of His Mercy doth bestow on mankind there is none can withhold: what He doth withhold there is none can grant apart from Him: and He is the Exalted in Power Full of Wisdom.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 160:

If Allah helps you none can overcome you: if He forsakes you who is there after that that can help you? In Allah then let believers put their trust.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 51:

Say: "Nothing will happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us: He is our Protector"; and on Allah let the believers put their trust.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 17:

17 If Allah touch thee with affliction none can remove it but He; if He touch thee with happiness He hath power over all things.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzaab verse 3:

And put your trust in Allah Alone; and enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

Allah is our witness sister, if all the Jinns and all the magicians of the world were to get together and plot and plan to bring about any harm upon anyone, they would not even be able to damage even one hair on the body of that individual without the precise Will and Permission of Allah Subhanah, the Lord of the Worlds! Thus one should neither fear the Jinns, nor the magicians, but rather one should fear Allah their Lord, and keep their full trust and belief in Him and Him Alone.

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 4563 Narrated by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri

Allah's Messenger (saws used to seek refuge in Allah from jinn and the evil eye in men till the Mu'awwidhatan (Surah 113 Al-Falaq and Surah 114 An-Naas) were revealed, after which he (saws) made use of them and abandoned everything else.

If ever one fears any evil from any quarter, the guidance of the Messenger of Allah (saws) dictates that one recite the Muawwidhaat (Surahs 113 Al-Falaq and 114 An-Naas), seeking refuge and putting their complete trust and faith in the Power and Strength and Protection of Allah Subhanah Alone; it is expected that their Lord Most High will protect them from any and all evil and no evil or harm will be able to approach them from any quarter.

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
