Answer:

Take loan for sacrifice

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Hadrat Umar ibn Khattab (r.a.) reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say: "Sacrifice animals, for Allah loves sacrifice.’

The sacrifice of an animal on the Day of Adha is obligatory only for those believers who are actually on the Hajj pilgrimage; for all the other believers this sacrifice on the Day of Adha is an extremely preferred Sunnah not only of the Last and Final Messenger, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (saws), but also of the father of the Prophets, the Noble Prophet Ibraheem Khaleelullah (a.s.).

Thus if one not on the Hajj pilgrimage wishes to offer a sacrifice on this blessed day, he would be eligible to receive a huge reward from his Lord; and if for any reason, one does not offer the sacrifice there is no sin. The absolute most one can say of one who did not offer the voluntary sacrifice on the Day of Adha is that he missed a great opportunity to earn extra rewards from his Lord Most Gracious.

If one has the financial ability to offer the sacrifice, but does not have the required amount of money on hand, or his money happens to be employed elsewhere momentarily…there is absolutely no harm and no restriction in Shariah if such a person happens to take a temporary loan without any riba and purchase the animal with the intention to sacrifice it in the Blessed Name of Allah.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
