Answer:

Name alphabet has bearing on child

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His  forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

There is absolutely no truth is what the person said, as the date of the birth or the alphabets of a name have absolutely no bearing on the character of a person. The believers, who sincerely believe in Allah and the Last Day, should not hold or believe such false beliefs and superstitions.

If one changes the name because he fears such false superstitions, that the alphabet in ones name or the date of ones birth has an adverse effect on the child; it will be considered a major sin in Islam as such beliefs are equivalent to shirk!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
