Answer:

Name of moses mother

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

The only female human being whom Allah Subhanah has chosen to mention by name in His Glorious Quran is Hadrat Maryam, the chaste and noble mother of the Noble Messenger of Allah, Isa (a.s.); and to the best of our limited knowledge, there is absolutely no mention of the specific name of the mother of Prophet Musa (a.s.) in the authentic and established Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws).

Whenever Allah Subhanah refers to an incident regarding the mother of Prophet Musa (a.s.) in His Glorious Quran, He refers to her simply as Umme-Musa or the mother of Musa (a.s.))

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 28 Surah Qasas verse 7:

7 So We sent this inspiration to Umme-Musa (the mother of Musa (a.s.)): "Suckle (thy child, Musa (a.s.)) but when thou hast fears about him cast him (the babe Musa (a.s.)) into the river, but fear not nor grieve: for We shall restore him to thee and We shall make him one of Our Messengers."

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 28 Surah Qasas verse 7:

10 But there came to be a void in the heart of Umme-Musa (the mother of Musa (a.s.)): she was going almost to disclose his (case) had We not strengthened her heart (with faith) so that she might remain a (firm) believer.

It is only in the Biblical records where one finds mention of the name of the mother of Musa (a.s.) as Jochebed (Bible Book of Exodus 6:20).

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
