Required verses of the quran addressing to mankind

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Assalaam-o-Alaikum,

Islamic helpline is really good. It helps in knowing more about Koran. To One of our Hindu brothers I wanted to send some quotes from the Holy Koran where ALLAH addresses to the entire Humanity. Could you pls send them across to me. Sply those wherein He invites people towards Islam. I hope you got what I'm looking for.

Thanks in Adv

Required verses of the quran addressing to mankind

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

There are several verses in the Glorious Quran where Allah Subhanah addresses all of mankind to the Truth of Al-Islam. Here are some of them:

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 185:

185 Ramadan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an; as a Guide to mankind, and also clear (Signs) for guidance, and a Criterion (between right and wrong).

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verses 79-80:

79 Whatever good (O man!) happens to thee is from Allah; but whatever evil happens to thee is from thy (own) soul. And We have sent thee as a Messenger to (instruct) mankind: and enough is Allah for a Witness.

80 He who obeys the Messenger, obeys Allah! But if any turn away, We have not sent thee to watch over their (evil deeds).

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 22 Surah Hajj verses 5-6:

5 O Mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection (consider) : that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (Our Power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term. Then do We bring you out as babes then (foster you), that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die and some are sent back to the feeblest old age so that they know nothing after having known (much). And (further) thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it it is stirred (to life); it swells and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth.

6 This is so because Allah is the Reality: it is He Who gives life to the dead, and it is He Who has power over all things.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 170:

170 O Mankind! The Messenger hath come to you in truth from Allah: believe in him: it is best for you. But if ye reject faith, to Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth: and Allah is All-Knowing All-Wise.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumar verse 41:

41 Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth for (instructing) mankind. He then that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus verses 55-57:

55 Is it not (the case) that to Allah belongeth whatever is in the heavens and on earth? Is it not (the case ) that Allah's promise is assuredly true? Yet most of them understand not.

56 Is it He Who giveth life, and who taketh it, and to Him shall ye all be brought back.

57 O Mankind! There hath come to you a direction from your Lord, and a healing for the (diseases) in your hearts; and for those who believe, a Guidance and a Mercy.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
