Aayah explaination

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His  forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 8 Surah Anfaal verse 30: Remember how the unbelievers plotted against thee to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out (of thy home). They plot and plan and Allah too plans, but the best of ‘maakereen’ (planners) is Allah.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 54: And (then unbelievers) plotted and planned and Allah too planned; and the best of ‘maakereen’ (planners) is Allah.

The Arabic term ‘makr’ means to plan secretly, and thus ‘maakereen’ would be ‘the one who plans secretly’.

The term ‘Maakereen’ as used in the above Aayahs of the Holy Quran refers to Allah Subhanah, for He indeed is the best of Planners.

‘Makr’ is generally used in the Arabic language for a plot or plan that is devised secretly. In the above aayahs, and in several other places in the Holy Quran, Allah Subhanah exposes the ‘makr’ or secret plans of the disbelievers, mushriks, Jews, and the hypocrites amongst the muslims.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 27 Surah Naml verses 50-51:

50 They plotted and planned, but We too planned even while they perceived it not.

51 Then see what was the end of their plot! This, that we destroyed them and their people all (of them).

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 14 Surah Ibraheem verses 46-47:

46 Mighty indeed were the plots which they made, but their plots were (well) within the sight of Allah, even though they were such as to shake the hills!

47 Never think that Allah would fail His Messengers in His promise: for Allah is Exalted in Power, the Lord of Retribution.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
