Answer:

Concept of wahdat ul wujud

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

The term ‘wahdat’ is from one and only, and ‘wujud’ means in its essence; thus the term ‘wahdat ul-wujud’ implies that in its essence everything is the same one and only!

Beloved brother, there is absolutely nothing in the Quran, or the Sunnah, or in any of the major madhabs which even remotely accept or advocate the notion of ‘wahdat –ul-wujud’. This term is amongst the many forms of misguidance concocted and propagated by some unscrupulous and misguided people in the times gone by, implying that in essence everything is the One and Only Allah.

These absolutely misguided sect believed that Allah Subhanah was in everything, in every tree, in every animal, in every jinn, in every human, etc.! Such a belief is absolutely against the clear guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah, and an absolute and utter lie and a self-concocted utter misconception and deviation far far away from the Truth!

The Glorious Quran guides towards the Absolute Truth that Allah Subhanah Alone is the Lord, Creator, Sustainer, Provider and Cherisher of everything in existence; Allah Subhanah Alone is the Creator of everything in existence, and everything in existence is simply His creation and absolutely subservient to Him.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
