Sex Questions

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His  forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Q-a) Is there is any particular time in which you can and cannot have sex.

There is absolutely no restriction regarding time for a husband and wife to enjoy their conjugal relationships, provided the conditions of menses, or fasting, or ‘ihraam’ (for pilgrimage), or ‘itiqaaf’ (dedication period to the remembrance of Allah done in the nights of Ramadan), etc. do not apply. If these conditions do no apply, there is absolutely no restriction regarding time of the day or night when a married couple may enjoy their conjugal relationships with each other.

Q-b) After you have sex is it compulsory to do GUSUL immediately or can u get up in the morning and do GUSUL.

The Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws), if he did not wish to perform ‘ghusl’ or full bath immediately after sexual impurity, he would make ablution and go to sleep and perform the ‘ghusl’ when he got up.

Q-c) What are the restricted positions in which you can and cannot perform sex.

We are attaching an answer from the archive regarding sexual liberty in Islam. Basically, there is absolutely no restriction regarding positions for sex; one may have sex standing, sitting, lying down, or any which one way wishes, because in Islam, there is absolutely no veil between husband and wife.

Q-d) Is it restricted to have sex when ur wife is pregnant.

Basically, there is absolutely no restriction if a husband and wife wish to have sex during the period of pregnancy.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 222:

They ask you about the (women’s) monthly courses. Say, “It is a state of impurity; so keep apart from the women during their monthly courses and do not approach them until they are clean. When they have cleansed themselves, then you may go to them in the manner ordained for you by Allah. Most surely Allah loves those people who refrain from evil and keep themselves pure and clean.

The only restrictions for having sexual relations with one spouse is when the wife is in her monthly menses period, or when one or both of them are fasting. There is absolutely no harm for a husband and wife to have sexual relations during her pregnancy period.

Narrated Hadrat Abu Dharr al Gaffari that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: “there is a reward for you [even] in sex with your wife.' This is related by Ahmad.

Muslim related that the companions of the Prophet (saws) asked : "O Messenger of Allah (saws), is there a reward if one satisfies his passion?" He (saws) said: "Do you know that if he satisfies it unlawfully he has taken a sin upon himself? Likewise, if he satisfies it lawfully, he is rewarded."

Your Statement: I would appreciate if you could send me a reply by email and not disclose my email address to anyone else. I would appreciate if you respect my pricacy. Also I have no objection if you this question up on ur site but if possible please donot disclose my email address and my name.
