Answer:

Why all Human beings are not Muslim’s?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: I like to ask you Why are not all human being musilms.
May Allah Subhanah bless you and increase your quest for knowledge for asking this very important question. Indeed, the Magnificent Creator Who created everything in existence to obey Him, could have if He Willed and Pleased, made every single human being to submit to Him and thus become ‘muslims’!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus verses 99-100:

99 If it had been the Lord's Will they would all have believed, all who are on earth! Wilt thou (O Prophet (saws)) then compel mankind against their will to believe!

100 No soul can believe except by the Will of Allah; and He will place doubt (or obscurity) on those who refuse to understand.

If the Majestic Lord Willed all the human beings on earth would have believed and been ‘muslims’; but that was not His Will and His Plan. If one looks at every other creation of Allah Subhanah, one will realize that everything, absolutely everything is obedient to Him and His Laws (of what we call ‘nature’!). The sun, the moon, the heavenly bodies, the winds, the rains, the plants, the animals….everything, absolutely everything is obedient to their Creator and His Laws. None of them has a will of their own, and they simply follow what they have been commanded to do!

The All-Knowing, All-Wise Lord singled out two species (Human Beings and Jinns) amongst His Creation, and bestowed upon them two things which He did not give to any in creation; and thus put them to a test!

Intelligence or the Power of Reasoning

A limited ‘free will’ to choose the path one wills to lead his transitory worldly life.

Allah says in the Holy Quran in Chapter 67 Surah Al Mulk verse 2: He (Allah) created death and life that He may test you, to see which of you is the best in deeds.

The one who uses his bestowed intelligence and power and reasoning, recognizes his Lord and Creator through the innumerable Signs in the Universe, and of his own will, submits his this ‘free-will’ to the Will of His Creator, passes the test.

And the one who denies or defies the recognition which the Lord deserves, and chooses to invent or follow a path other than the one approved by His Creator; fails the test miserably!

Amongst His many Signs, in His Sublime and Infinite Mercy towards mankind, He sent His Messengers and His Books to invite and guide mankind to the follow the Path chosen by Him. And as an Ultimate and Supreme Mercy, in the same succession, He sent His Last and Final Messenger, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (saws), and His Last and Final Message, the Glorious Quran to guide mankind aright to the Straight Path of Islam.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verse 29: (O Prophet) Proclaim, “This (Quran) is the Truth from your Lord: now whosoever wills may accept it, and whosoever wills may reject it.” (As for those who reject it) We have prepared for such workers of iniquity a fire whose flames have encircled them. There, if they ask for water , they will be given a drink like the dregs of oil, which will burn their mouths! What an evil drink, and what an evil abode!

A test is only considered a test when one is given a ‘will’ to accept or deny the choice! If one forces anyone to accept only one choice, then obviously it cannot be considered a ‘test’! Allah created man, gave him intelligence and power of reasoning, bestowed upon him a ‘free-will’ to make his choice, sent His Messengers and His Message to guide them to the Right Choice, and clearly declared the rewards of those who pass the test and the punishments for those who fail it!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 13 Surah Raad verse 31: If there were a Qur'an with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak (this would be the one!!!) But truly the Command is with Allah in all things! Do not the Believers know that had Allah (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the Right)? As for the disbelievers, because of their misdeeds, one affliction or the other continues to visit them every now and then, or descends near their home until the Promise of Allah comes to pass. For verily Allah will not fail in His promise.

Thus my beloved and dear brother in Islam, the purpose of the Creator in the creation of man was to involve man in a test to see who amongst them would use their faculties of intelligence and of their own ‘free-will’, submit to the Will of their Lord. Had the Lord Willed and Planned, He could very well have forced every human being to submit their ‘wills’ to Him, and thus become believers; but then the vital ‘test’ would have become null and void!

And this small and trivial ‘test’ is for a period of one short and transitory life-time; after which all will be gathered in His Presence where the results of the tests will be declared. The fortunate righteous ones who passed the ‘test’ will be admitted to His Mercy and Grace and Bounty; and the evil-doers who denied, disregarded, and thus failed the ‘test’ will be given their fair punishments!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 11 Surah Hud verses 103-108:

103 In that is a Sign for those who fear the Penalty of the Hereafter: that is a Day for which mankind will be gathered together: that will be a Day of Testimony.

104 Nor shall We delay it but for a term appointed.

105 The Day it arrives no soul shall speak except by His leave: of those (gathered) some will be wretched and some will be blessed.

106 Those who are wretched shall be in the Fire: there will be for them therein (nothing but) the heaving of sighs and sobs:

107 They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure except as thy Lord willeth: for thy Lord is the (sure) Accomplisher of what He Planneth.

108 And those who are blessed shall be in the Garden: they will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure except as thy Lord willeth: a Gift without break.

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), he can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), he can be assured of being led astray.

May Allah Subhanah reward you immensely for asking this very very important question, and increase your quest for the knowledge of Truth. May Allah Subhanah help you and us, have mercy upon you and us, and guide us all to pass His prescribed test. May Allah Subhanah forgive us our shortcomings and give you and us refuge from failing this simple ‘test’ of life. May Allah Subhanah keep you, us, and all the believers in His Supreme Mercy and Protection, in the life of this world and in the Hereafter. Ameen.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
