Meaning of aayah

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Dear Brother,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah`s Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

My question wl be base on flwging ayah :

Surah An-Nisa : 115

And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad ) after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers` way. We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell - what an evil destination.

Here Allah has mentioned " and follows other than the believers` way ".

Pls advise who are these believers and the way of these believers??

May Allah reward you in this world and hereafter.

wassalam

Meaning of aayah

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 115: If anyone contends with the Messenger (Mohamed (saws)) even after guidance has been plainly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that becoming to men of faith, We shall leave him in the path he has chosen and land him in Hell--what an evil refuge!

Your Question: Pls advise who are these believers and the way of these believers??

The ‘Rasool’ in the above verse of the Glorious Quran is the Last Messenger of Allah, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (saws), and the believers with him are none other than the noble companions of the Messengers of Allah (saws), who believed in the Message brought by him.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 100: The vanguard (of Islam) the first of those ‘Muhajirs’ ( who migrated with the Prophet (saws) to Medina) and of the ‘Ansaars’ (those who gave them aid), and (also) those who follow them in (all) good deeds: well pleased is Allah with them, as are they with Him: for them hath He prepared Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein for ever: that is the Supreme Felicity.

The ‘way of these believers’ is the path followed by the Messenger of Allah (saws) and his companions, and the path is named ‘As-Siraat al-Mustaqeem’ (Straight Path) by Allah Subhanah in various places in His Glorious Quran.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 36 Surah Yaa Seen verses 1-4:

1 Ya Sin.

2 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom

3 Thou (O Mohamed (saws)) art indeed one of the Messengers.

4 On the ‘Siraat al Mustaqeem’ (Straight Path).

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 171 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr

Allah's Messenger (saws) said: ‘There will befall my Ummah, exactly (all those) evils which befell the people of Isra'il, so much so that if there was one amongst them who openly committed fornication with his mother, there will be among my Ummah one who will do that, and if the people of Isra'il were fragmented into seventy-two sects, my Ummah will be fragmented into seventy-three sects. All of them will be in Hell Fire except one sect.’ They (the Companions) said: ‘O Allah's Messenger (saws), which is that?’ Whereupon he (saws) said: ‘It is one to which I and my companions belong.’

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
