Answer:

Man commits adultery

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Firstly sister, one must be absolutely sure that someone has committed the heinous and grave sin of adultery before taking any steps, and never ever accuse someone on mere suspicion or heresay.

And when you are absolutely convinced that your husband has indeed committed this most heinous of sins, and you feel he made a genuine error in judgment, and is ashamed and sorry at his mistake, and you feel he is sincerely seeking the forgiveness of Allah Subhanah and those whom he has hurt; then it would be best to give him a chance and forgive him his error, just as we wish that Allah Subhanah would forgive us for our errors.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 24 Surah Nur verse 22 (part): …..let them (the believers) forgive and overlook: do you not wish that Allah should forgive you? For Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.

But if you feel that he is unashamed and unrepentant at his crime, and given a chance he would do the same again; then it would be best to seek a divorce from such an evil person who cares not about the boundaries of Allah Subhanah, and fears not the standing in the Presence of the All-Mighty Lord on an Inevitable Day!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
