Assalamu alaikkum, Q1. Is it permissible to have sex with my wife, before 'suhoor' , after making 'Niyyat' , to fast on the next day ? Is there any restriction regarding this ? Q2. Is it persmissible to take shower together with my wife in the same bathroom ? Please reply

Sex and bath in Ramadhan

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

There is absolutely no restriction with having sex with the wife before or after ‘suhoor’, or before or after the ‘neeyah’ of fast is taken. The restriction is only to abstain from sexual intercourse during the actual hours of fasting.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 187:It has been made lawful for you to go to your wives during the nights of the Fast days. They are (like) a garment to you, and you are (like) a garment to them. Though Allah knew that you were secretly dishonest to yourselves, He has pardoned your guilt and forgiven you. Now, you are permitted to have intercourse with your wives and enjoy what Allah has made lawful for you. You are also permitted to eat and drink during the nights of the Fast months, until you discern the white streak of dawn from the blackness of night. Then (abstain from all these things and) complete your Fast till nightfall. But you should not have intercourse with your wives while you confine yourselves to the mosques (when in aiteqaaf during the last 10 days of Ramadan). These are the bounds set by Allah; so do not even go near them. In this way Allah makes His Commands clear to mankind. It is expected that they will attain piety.

Yes, it is permissible to take a shower with the wife in the same bathroom. In Islam, there is absolutely no ‘purdah’ of any sort between the husband and the wife.
