School ruling and the hijab to life our head scarfs by teacher

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
I wanted to ask if it were right for use to lift our head scarfs in school.You see our school has become strick on school uniform after the head teacher is swaped and now they are asking that all Muslim girls should lift up their scarf to show the teachers if we are wearing a tie and school shirt or not.Many of use are arguing that it is not allowed for use to lift our scarfs becuase we were them to cover ourselves in the first place and if we lift it up for teachers we might as well not wear it.I wanted to know if the tachers are allowed to do so or not.There has been a constant argument over the years about this and I was hoping you could give me the answer and if it is yes, provide some proof that they are not allowed to do so, so that I show the teachers the proof because they think they are allowed.I know they have a right intention to do so because they believe that we should dress smart because it will reflect our grades but when they do this I feel they are asking for something that is not allowed

Answer:
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Sister the hijab is Allah's swt command for the believing woman to be protected from the evil of this world. However, if in an institution you are forced to reveal for inspection purposes, then you will not be held responsible. If you can politely inform the management and request them to designate a woman to inspect, that would be best. But, removing the hijab altogether will be termed as rebellion to obey Allah swt command.
Sister remember this command is for the believing women only. Most faithless people don't comprehend that the hijab is not made mandatory to suppress or humiliate woman, but to honor and uplift them. Have you ever heard of a mu-hajib woman being molested or rape? These days rape and molestation of women has become common throughout the world, but when a believing women wears the hijab it sends a clear warning to those rascals that she is not available and to seek for their pleasure those womenfolk who reveal and tease them and incite them to molest etc..
So rest assured you are within your rights to permit this inspection. Because of the bad publicity Muslims in general have received, we should be careful to handle such incidents with hikmah (wisdom) and keep our honor and dignity intact. May Allah swt make your trials easy.
