Aqeeqa for more than one baby

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
As Salam Alekum Brother Burhan My wife is going to deliver (insha-Allah) more than one baby. I just want to know that in such a case do I need to sacrifice an animal per baby? or I can sacrifice one animal for all together.Can I sacrifice one big animal for all or do I need to sacrifice a sheep for every baby? Answer:
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Normally one should sacrifice at least 2 goats/sheep for a male and 1 goat/sheep for a female to offer our thanks to Allah swt for His infinite mercy grace and blessings. This is if you have the means. If not then any sacrifice you can afford will InshaAllah be acceptable.
