Invite sensible people

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

As Salaam-O-Aliekum

Burhan & Members,

I am very pleased with your work which you are carrying through your forum and mails to invite people to read and understand Quran. After understanding and reading Quran I have rightfully opened my eyes, what is wrong and what is right.

I am not that learned man then the Moulas', priests', moulvis' and all people like you'll. But according to my poor common sense I can understand that when in summer the grass is burnt to black ash, then how come in rains again the grass is grown green in the same place. Why does the bird of some spicies fly low in the sky and other fly to the highest in the sky. Why does the fish of some spicies swim in the shallow of the rivers that same fish can't swim in deep sea. All this technical characteristics of the nature why I should understand, there are authoritities given High ranks who can explain. I have no common sense why should I understand? These things does not show the greatness of Allah directly to me, because I am have no common sense I am blind to see all this. I am a Bohra

Brother Burhan and Friends why are you breaking your heads on me. I am a typical Bohra, I am a Frog in my pond, why do you want this Bohra senseless person to come to your Invitation to read Quran?

If I had little bit of common sense, Before saying Allah O Akbar I would have realised His Greatness. Before saying Kalemo " La Illaha Illal Lah" I should have given a thought that what it means.

I am a true Bohra and you teach ME the meaning of Abd-Allah. Breaking heads just breaking heads.

Please I have a request to make to you and your team. Invite sensible people NOT ME THE BOHRA. I am senseless, I am Insane.

Allah will bless you'll, for doing this great work.

P.S. Dear Bohra Bhais' I hope this is some sensible mail I have written to Mr. Burhan?

Allah Hafiz.

Answer:

Invite sensible people

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and who-ever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

If one is indeed insane, then there is no accounting for the insane person on the Day of Judgement. Accounting is only for the people to whom Allah has bestowed intelligence and commonsense, but they fail to use this faculty in choosing and following the Truth. One might be able to convince the whole world and maybe even himself that he is insane; but in the Court of Allah, the Truth will stand clear of falsehood!

Sometimes, because of prejudice, family beliefs, ignorance, surroundings, etc. one is not able to use his intelligence and commonsense in determining the Truth. He then either blindly follows the ways of his forefathers, or invents and justifies his own set of beliefs, without ever referring to the Will of His Creator. Allah, in His Sublime Wisdom and Infinite Mercy has revealed unto mankind His Message of Guidance. But people are so used to their own ways, that they fail to recognize this Truth.

Allah says in Chapter 2, Surah Baqarah aayat 185: "Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was sent down: this Book is a perfect guidance for mankind and consists of CLEAR teachings which show the right way and are a Criterion of the Truth and falsehood."

Whoever reads, understands, follows, obeys and implements the commands of this Perfect Guidance is guided aright; and whoever rejects and denies this Guidance is led astray.

Allah has commanded the believers to invite mankind to the Truth of the Holy Quran, and that is all we intend to do: invite you to the Truth. You are welcome to accept this invitation to the Mercy and Forgiveness of our Lord and Creator; or you may choose to deny it. The choice is entirely yours.

Allah says in the Holy Quran: Chapter 16, Surah An-Nahl Ayat 125: Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and excellent admonition and argue with people in the best manner. Your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Way and who is Rightly guided.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verse 29: Proclaim, “This (Quran) is the Truth from your Lord: now whosoever wills may accept it, and whosoever wills may reject it.” (As for those who reject it) We have prepared for such workers of iniquity a fire whose flames have encircled them. There, if they as for water, they will be given a drink like the dregs of oil, which will burn their mouths! What an evil drink, and what an evil abode!

May Allah guide you and us all to the Straight Path of Islam.

Your Comment: P.S. Dear Bohra Bhais' I hope this is some sensible mail I have written to Mr. Burhan?

I have purposely chosen to overlook the sarcasm, if any is meant by the above statement.

If you choose to follow true Islam by obeying and following the commands of Allah Subhanah, you will do a favor to none but yourself; and if you choose to deny yourself the understanding of the clear guidance of the Holy Quran and follow your own path, you will do harm to none, but yourself. Allah is without a doubt Self-Sufficient and Self-Praiseworthy. He does not stand in need of our devotion and worship.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 35 Surah Faatir verses 14-18: Those whom you invoke instead of Allah, do not even own a blade of grass! If you call them, they cannot hear your prayers; and if they hear, they cannot answer you! And on the Day of Resurrection they will disown your ‘shirk’ (associating others with Allah). None can inform you of the Truth, except the One Who is All-Aware. O People! It is you who stand in need of Allah! Allah is Self-Sufficient, Self-Praiseworthy. If He wills, He can remove all of you, and bring a new creation in your place. This is not at all difficult for Allah. No bearer of burden will bear the burden of another, and if a laden soul cries out for help, none will come forward to share the least of its burden; even though it may be the nearest of relation! You can only warn those who fear their Lord although they cannot see Him, and establish the Salaat. Whoever adopts purity does so for his own good; and to Allah shall all return.

Our duty was no more than to invite you to the Truth of the Holy Quran. To believe or to deny is your decision alone.

Your Comment: I am a true Bohra and you teach ME the meaning of Abd-Allah. Breaking heads just breaking heads.

If you can differentiate the difference between being an Abd-Allah (Slave of Allah) and ‘abde-syedna’ (slave of syedna), you will be able to differentiate the difference between ‘Tawheed’ (The Oneness of Allah) and the unforgivable sin of ‘shirk’ (associating others with Allah). The Holy Quran invites you to the concept and doctrine of The Oneness of Allah; and the ones who deny the guidance of the Quran invariably invite you to the concept of associating others with Allah. This sin of ‘shirk’ is so grave and so heinous, that Allah has promised in the Holy Quran that He will never ever forgive the one who dies in this sin! Allah has forbidden Paradise for the committers of this heinous sin, and all the deeds that they did in this world will hold no weight in the hereafter.

Allah says in the Quran: Chapter 4 Surah An-Nisa Verse 48: Shirk (associating other deities with Allah) is the only sin that Allah does not forgive, and He forgives, whomsoever He pleases, sins other than this. For whosoever associates any other partner with Allah, does indeed forge a big lie and commits the most heinous sin

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 72: Whoever commits ‘shirk’ (invoking anything with Allah), Allah shall forbid for him Paradise, and Hell shall be his abode. And for such wrong doers there will be no one to help.

All the communities of the Prophets which were destroyed by Allah in the ages gone by, were destroyed for committing this one most heinous of sins: Shirk! Unfortunately this concept of ‘shirk’ has also crept up its ugly head in the Ummah of Islam. Most Muslims chant the slogan ‘There is no god but Allah’ day and night; but because they have no understanding of the Holy Quran, they keep on committing this most heinous of sins. The only way to recognize and eliminate this sin from our lives is to read and understand the Holy Quran, and follows its guidance. Leave the guidance of the Quran, and Shaitaan will guide you towards this very sin!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah Nahl verse 98-100: Then, when you begin to recite the Quran, seek Allah’s refuge against the accursed Shaitaan, for he has no power over those who believe and put their trust in Allah. Shaitaan has power (to inspire) only over those people, who make him their patron, and practice ‘shirk’ by his temptation.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verses 103-106: Tell them (O Mohamed), “Should We tell you who are the most unsuccessful people and miserable failures in regard to their deeds? They are those, all whose endeavors in the worldly life, had gone astray from the Right Way, but all along they were under the delusion that everything they were doing, was rightly directed! Those are the people who rejected the Revelations of their Lord and did not believe that they would ever go before Him. Therefore all their deeds were lost, for We shall assign no weight to them on the Day of Resurrection. Their recompense is Hell for the disbelief they showed, and for the mockery they adopted in regard to My Aayahs and My Messengers!”

May Allah guide you and us all to the Straight Path of Islam.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
