Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

PLEASE RESPOND IF YOU ARE ....

I read your mails regularly, although I hate the way of your thinking.

Please either you yourself are misled, and if that is the case, I sincerly pray to Allah that he bring you back to the sirat al mustakeem. If you are trying to decieve people with your turns and twists and sweet lnguages then .........

For Allah alone knows what is conceled in the hearts of people. Although, I usually try and ignore your lectures, this time I could not resist. If you have a certain background in the islamic history, you should not be saying all this. The hadits "Sahihs" that you often quote, have you ever noticed that a big majority comes from the people like ABU HURRAIRA, who himself knew the Prophet only for a few years of his life and history knows him very well for his antipathy towards the Ahl ul Bait. There are others of the likes of Marwan, Muaviah, Talha, Zubair, and even Abu Sufian, Aisha, ....)

In these So CALLED SAHAIH HADITHS, its rare to find any decisive hadits comming thru Ameer ul mumeen who has spend his life along with Rasool-Allah from his birth till the death of the prophet. (You know very well whom do I mean by this - Ali Ibne Abi Talib).

Answer:

The hadiths that you quote are mostly from Abu Huraira who knew the Prophet (saws) only for a few years!

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and who-ever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

(Hadrat Ali reported close to 90 Sahih Hadiths. Compare that to Abu Bakr (less than 10), Umar (less than 50), and Uthman (less than 50). All these noble companions spend their entire lives in the service of the Messenger of Allah (saws))

Your comment: What I am going to say is from the Sunni Litterature. I do not quote anything from the Shia Litterature. Read Tabari, Ibn Hanbal, Muslim, Bukhari whom we do not  give any liverage. I would not go mere in details for obvious reasons.

After the death of The Prophet, where were these so called KHALIFA RASHEDEEN. where were they during the rime of funeral ? Who were the people present for the funeral ? Was the khilafat more important than the last rites of the prophets funeral ?

(Almost all the noble companions were at the funeral of their leader and teacher, the Messenger of Allah (saws). It is a manifest lie that they arranged the meeting at the ‘saqeefa of banu saidah’! Only when Abu Bakr and Umar heard that the Ansars of Medina were holding a meeting, they attended that meeting. And that was after the funeral rites of the Messenger of Allah (saws) were performed.)

Your comment: How about the first lanat pronounced upon Abu Bakar? It was by the daughter of the prophet himself. I would not go in the depth of the  history of FADAK. You should know it and if not please read.

(I am very well aware of the history of Fadak! The noble daughter of the Prophet, Fatema bint Rasool Allah, would never pronounce ‘lanah’ on any of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (saws). She was a witness to the sacrifices given by these noble companions in the service of Islam. Also, why would Hadrat Ali name his son Abu Bakr bin Ali, Umar bin Ali, and Uthman bin Ali after the death of the Prophet, if as you say, there was so much animosity between these noble companions? After the death of Abu Bakr, Hadrat Ali married his widow. Why? Brother, there is not an iota of truth in this created animosity between these noblest of companions of the Prophet (saws). There might have been some mis-understandings, but never the level of animosity as portrayed by the people. The Companions of the Messengers loved each other in the Brotherhood of Islam created by the Prophet (saws) himself.)

Your comment: How about the atrocities committed upon the family of prophet just after his death, for the wordly gains ?

On the death bed when the prophet asked to have the pen and paper to get written something that would never let mislead the ummah, why did Umar say that the prophet was speaking nonsense because of the sickness (naaouzo billah). Further adding that the Quraan alone is sufficient to guide the mankind. Did he know more than the prophet? This is exactly what you think... The  Quraan and the sunnah is sufficient to guide us.

(First of all, it is a fact and also stated in the Quran, that the Prophet could not read or write! Thus all he had to do was say what he wanted, which he obviously did … because the Prophet (saws) lived a good 4 days after this reported incident. It does not behove a companion of the stature of Umar to say that the Prophet (saws) was speaking (I seek refuge from Allah from writing this) ‘nonsense’. The Prophet of Allah was guided by Allah and he spoke nothing but the Truth. Was there anyone present at that time who had the knowledge of the ‘unseen’ so that they could read the Prophet’s mind of what he was about to say?)

Your comment: How about the atrocities committed by Usman towards the people, Aboozar Gaffari who was exiled, Mikdad in who died because of his attrocities ? How about the killing of Malik ul Ashtar ?

(Allah Alone knows best what transpired and He will judge each according to their deeds. Uthman, Abudhar Ghaffari, Mikdaad, and Malik Ashtar are all among the noble companions of the Prophet (saws). He loved them dearly and so does every true believer.)

Your comment: How about the battle of Siffin, where so many noble companions of the Prophet were killed ? Have you forgetton the sacrifices of Ammar bin Yasin about him the prophet himself has said that he would be killed by the Rebellious party.

(All of the Ummah of Islam is unanimous that Hadrat Ali (r.a.) was on the Truth. The Battle of Siffin was instigated by the people who were mis-guided! Ammar bin Yasser was on the side of Truth and indeed the Prophet (saws) had said that those who fight him would be the Rebellious Party. )

Your comment: Do you still have good thoughts about Muaviah?

(Muawiah just simply cannot be compared to any of the noble companions of the Prophet (saws). He was the one who instigated the rebellion against Hadrat Ali (r.a.) and was of the Rebellious Party! And Allah is enough to exact full retribution from all those who fought Hadrat Ali (r.a.) and the Truth.)

Your comment: Even during the wars of Siffin, Jamal, and even Karbala, there were the so called companions of the prophet present against the very own members of the prophets family. Do you still pronounce rahmat over these people ?

(So, in your opinion, almost all the companions of the Prophet (saws) were renegades! May Allah have mercy on you! Little do you realize, that by cursing any of the noble companions of the Prophet (saws), you (Allah forbid) revile the Prophet (saws) himself. What kind of a leader do you think the Prophet (saws) was? The man whom Allah chose as His Last Messenger to take mankind out of ignorance could not even choose his team properly! And people like you even revile his noble wives… whom Allah Himself has called the ‘umm al mu-mineen’ (Mothers of the believers) in the Holy Quran! Allah Alone will account for the renegades who do not care about the commandments of Allah Subhanah and are willing to revile and curse the woman whom Allah has made the mothers of the believers!

Also when it comes to the companions of Hadrat Ali (r.a.), each and every one of them are recognized by these ‘historians’ as noble, pious and God Fearing! But when it comes to the companions of the Prophet (saws), almost all of them became hypocrites, no sooner he left this world!!!! Those who propagate such slander have just not recognized the Prophet (saws) and his noble companions. Allah has honored these companions in the Holy Quran Himself and the Messenger (saws) has praised them. But then, for the Rebellious people, the words of their ‘historians’ hold more weight than those of Allah and His Messenger (saws).)

Your comment: God forbid please do not mislead the innocent people who do not know anything about the history. I invite you and the readers to read the islamic History. You need to know your past before taking any decision over future.

(You read the History! We are satisfied in the words of Allah in the Holy Quran as our source of guidance.)

Your comment: Read the Nahajul Balagha. This book's authenticity is not even doubted by the Sunni scholars. Or Atleast read the Sunni sources Tabari, In Hanbal...

(Nahajul Balagha was compiled almost 410 years after the death of the Prophet (saws). There are unlimited discrepancies in this book, which are acknowledged even by the Shia Scholars! The unscrupulous authors in their mis-guidance think that to honor Ali, they must degrade every other noble companion of the Prophet (saws)!!

Discrepancy 1: Nahjul Balagh Page 15 Para 11: Hazrath Ali was married to Hazrath Fatima, the ONLY daughter of the Holy Prophet (a.s.) from Hazrath Khadija. LIE! The Prophet had four daughters from Hadrat Khadija: Zainab, Ruqayya, Umm Khulthum and Fatima!

Discrepancy 2: Nahjul Balagha Page 25 Para (iii) Battle of Badr: But Madina was being invaded and necessarily the Prophet was forced to defend himself and his followers. Incorrect! Madina was not being invaded. It was the muslims under the leadership of Prophet Mohamed (saws) who mobilized the army to attack the caravan of the pagans of Makkah!

Discrepancy 3: Nahjul Balagha Page 26 Para (iv): The muslims won the Battle of Ohud. Incorrect! The muslims actually lost the Battle of Ohud.

And I can go on and on…. Nahjul Balagh is full of inconsistencies! )

Your comment: And Readers Please know your past history before someone can fool you on the pretext of One Ummah with the use of the HADITHS SAHIHS !!!

(If you indeed read our articles, we have quoted 99% from the Holy Quran as our evidence, and maybe 1% from the Hadiths! And that is only because we know that some unscrupulous people will always challenge the Hadiths, but no muslim could dare challenge the Holy Quran! But I guess, there are some mis-guided muslims who are bold enough and have the courage to even challenge the very words of Allah Subhanah. May Allah have mercy on the Ummah of Islam.)

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

The deen of Islam was completed at the death of the Last Messenger of Allah (saws). Nothing can be added to this deen, and nothing can be taken out. The deen of Islam is the worship and invocation of the One Lord, without associating any one with Him. And that was the Message proclaimed by all the Messengers of Allah, and declared in clear terms in the Glorious Quran.

Whatever happened after the death of Prophet Mohamed (saws), is the History of the muslims and not the deen of Islam! Whoever did good deeds according to the Quran and Sunnah, Allah will reward them. And whoever did deeds against the commandments of the Quran and Sunnah, Allah was a witness to their mis-deeds, and will extract full retribution from these people. One thing is for sure: we will not be asked why, who and what deeds (good or bad) were done by the people who have passed away. We will be judged by Allah according to our deeds; if they were in line with the clear guidance of the Quran and Sunnah or not.

Allah says extremely clearly in Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 134: They were a people who passed away. They shall receive the reward of what they earned, and you shall have the reward of what you will earn. And you will not be questioned as to what they did.

Regarding all the points and hints in your questions, I can reply to each of them using Muslim History as the base. We personally did not commit the atrocities mentioned, and thus Allah will not ask us about them. Whoever committed evil shall get his due from Allah, and whoever did good righteous deeds according to the Quran and Sunnah will get his due reward from Allah. Allah has not made us the judge for their doings.

We just want to clarify one point, that in all the immediate turmoil after the murder of the third Khalifa, Uthman ibn Affan, and the subsequent Battle of Siffin, history has recorded that the majority of the noble companions of the Prophet were on the side of Hadrat Ali (r.a.) and believed that Hadrat Ali (r.a.) was on ‘Haqq’ or Truth. The whole Ummah of Islam are unanimous and side with the ‘ahle-bayt’, not only against the Banu Ummayyed, but also against the Banu Abbas leadership. The most eminent scholars of the times, Abu Hanifa, Malik, Shafei and Ahmed ibn Hanbal always preferred, loved, honored and sided with the ‘ahle-bayt’… as recorded in their many records of history.

But today, some unscrupulous people have created their own history and use the names of the noble ‘ahle-bayt’ of the Messenger of Allah (saws) and made them the pivot of their ‘deen’ of Islam. They started their own deen, and declare that they alone love the ‘ahle-bayt’ and the rest of the muslims hate them! This is nothing but a manifest lie and falsehood! There is not a true believer who does not love the noble family members of the Messenger of Allah (saws), and is not saddened by the events and atrocities that took place.

The difference is that some people took advantage of the ‘zulm’ and atrocities of the ‘ahle-bayt’, mustered the people with fiery and emotional speeches, to break the Unity of the Muslims for their own political gains. These unscrupulous people took advantage of the muslims emotions, aligned themselves to the ‘zulm’ and atrocities of the ‘ahle-bayt’, and started proclaiming that they were the only ones who really loved the ‘ahle-bayt’. They started various innovations in Islam in the names of the noble ‘ahle-bayt’, and made these noble souls the center of their deen. Over time, they made the deen of Islam pivot around the atrocities and the ‘zulms’ of the ahle-bayt. They made tombs and shrines of worship on the graves of the noble ‘ahle-bayt’! They celebrated the birth and death days of these noble ‘ahle-bayt’! They started invoking and worshipping the graves of these noble ‘ahle-bayt’! They organized huge gatherings in the names of the noble ‘ahle-bayt’ and started recounting and re-inventing the atrocities done on the ‘ahle-bayt’! They started beating their chests in sorrow! They started wailing in unison and singing ‘marseeyahs’ in their praise! They started claiming that it was only the ‘wilaya’ and love of these noble ‘ahle-bayt’ which can take them to Allah’s Forgiveness and Paradise! Then they started using the ‘ahle-bayt’ as their intercessors with Allah for all their needs! Little did they realize, that they had made the graves of these noble ‘ahle-bayt’ their deities with Allah. They left the Quran and Sunnah as the pivot of the deen of Islam, and created a deen of their own around the names and incidents of the noble ‘ahle-bayt’! They started invoking Personalities rather than Allah Alone!

In their misguidance, they violated the clear commandments of the Holy Quran and the clear guidance of the Sunnah of the Messenger (saws). They started cursing and reviling the most noble of companions, and even the wives of the Messenger of Allah (saws). If one takes a close and un-biased look at their ‘deen’, it becomes evident that their whole deen is based on the History of the Muslims after the death of Prophet Mohamed (saws), and not the Holy Quran and Sunnah. And in their manifest deviation, you will realize that they always quote as evidence for their beliefs from every book written by man … Nahjul Balaagh, Daim ul Islam, etc.; and leave alone the Book which Allah has Himself revealed for the guidance of mankind: The Al-Quran.

My beloved brother, from Allah we have all come, and to Him is our ultimate return! The deen of Islam is focused on the Creator of all that exists: Allah Subhanah. True Islam is to follow Allah and His Messenger (saws). Anything and anyone else that is followed is nothing but manifest mis-guidance and deviation from the Truth!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imran verse 31-32: Prophet, tell the people, “If you sincerely love Allah, follow me. Then Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, for He is All Forgiving, All Merciful.” Also say to them, “Obey Allah and His Messenger.” And if, in spite of this, they do not accept your invitation, warn them that Allah does not love those, who refuse to obey Him and His Messenger.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verses 103-106: Tell them (O Mohamed), “Should We tell you who are the most unsuccessful people and miserable failures in regard to their deeds? They are those, all whose edeavours in the worldly life, had gone astray from the Right Way, but all along they were under the delusion that everything they were doing, was rightly directed! Those are the people who rejected the Revelations of their Lord and did not believe that they would ever go before Him. Therefore all their deeds were lost, for We shall assign no weight to them on the Day of Reserruction. Their recompense is Hell for the disbelief they showed, and for the mockery they adopted in regard to My Aayahs and My Messengers!”

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 25 Surah Furqan verses 26-30: The Real Kingdom on that Day will belong only to the Merciful. And it will be a very hard Day for the disbelievers. The unjust man will bite at his hand and say, “Would that I had stood by the Messenger! Oh, woe to me! Would that I had not chosen so and so for a friend! For it was he, who had deluded me to reject the Admonition which had come to me. Shaitaan has proved indeed very treacherous to man.” And the Messenger will say, “O my Lord, my people had made this Quran the object of their ridicule.”

My beloved brother, read and understand the very words of Allah, before you read the History of the Muslims after the death of the Prophet (saws), which was written by man! Then, and only then, will you get the correct picture of Islam. Read, understand, obey and follow the Quran and you will be guided aright! Give preference to anything else over and above the Quran, and you will surely be mis-guided! Islam revolves around Allah and His Messenger (saws), and not the recorded history of the muslims after the death of the Prophet (saws)! Nothing can be added or subtracted to the deen of Islam after the death of the Messenger of Allah (saws). The deen of Islam was completely revealed before the death of the Messenger of Allah (saws), and this was confirmed by Allah Himself in the Holy Quran.

May Allah have mercy on the Ummah of Islam.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
