Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

AS SALAM O ALEIKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKATUH I'll be grateful to you if you please help me clarifying some quetions of my friend , she ass why Prophet pbuh did not choose Abu Bakr ra and other compnions , and why his saw family on Mubalaha incident? She says ALLAH acces duas of mothers more than children , so Ali ra is like loving father , i tod that he is dead , i hae showed her your replies also , she don't agree , She asks who'll be our leaders on day if Qiyamah , if not 12 holy imams ?

(There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.)

Answer:

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

My dear Beloved Sister in Islam, we have tried to tell you earlier that the shias will not easily accept the clear teachings of the Glorious Quran. They have been brain-washed to believe that the Ahle Bayt and their descendants will intercede for them on the Day of Judgement. Allah swt clearly says in the Quran that no intercessions will be accepted. Is there any logic in the belief that just because you perform ceremonies on the deceased imams and holy men and believe in them, that they will somehow know you and intercede on your behalf in the just court of Allah swt in spite of  short comings and sins committed. Intercession is made only if one knows the other person personally and some injustice is being done. Can  one expect any injustice to be done on the Day of Judgement? Can one imagine anyone in creation intercede to change the decree of Allah swt., especially if one is sinful and not made taubah?

Wont it be more logical to make taubah to Allah swt and expect His Mercy and Forgiveness on the Day of Judgement as He is the only One who can hear and see all things. Sister we can go on giving examples of logic but how can one expect those with closed hearts to receive any hidaya (guidance).

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,
